    Someones AWOL...
  2. F-22 Raptor: Unproven in combat but obviously the baddest war bird to ever fly (no matter what those cocky ass europeans & Russian think) With that being said I still prefer tho older fighters. It made me sick the day I learned that they were scraping the F-14 Tomcat, it and the F-15E are just bad M-Fukers! Then there's the A-10 Warthog with its BIG GUN, FA-18 Super Hornet, F-4 Phantom(Impressive for its day) & SR71 Black Bird. Those planes have character <thumbsup> Anyone else notice an increased amount of military aircraft recently? Last weekend I had a group of Cobras (4) flying low & fast pas over my house, then Blackhawks all weekend long, all heading east. That's not normal in my area! Makes me wonder if they're building up for Syria?

    Rumors

A good friend of mine works for BASF where they use phosgene gas for making some of their products. One whiff of that "industrial" phosgene and you'll be meeting your maker in a couple minutes! :ugone2far:

  9. I say stick to your "buy once cry once motto" I looked at the Falcons,Millets and others but I just can't get past the made in China labels. There's some great compromises to be had in the $700-$1200 range, just saying <dontknow> (Yes I know most glass comes from Japan,Vortex is made in the Philippines,etc,etc....) It's a personal thing, I just don't like red communist fkucs! >:D
  10. For hunting or any type of extended carry you'll definitely want a wide 2pt sling, preferably padded.
  11. How far is long distance? #1- If you want to shoot more than 800 +- yards= Yes (unknown variables) #2- Personal preference, just get high quality. #3- ^^See #2 Possibly ever so slightly but shouldn't be enough to notice. From LaRue> Like all LaRue mounts, it is precision-machined out of bar-stock aluminum and anodized. The locking LaRue Speed Levers provide outstanding return to zero; the optic can be removed, and replaced, without loss of zero. Guaranteed.
  12. Thanks for the pictures guys, keep them coming. we will get them posted soon, If y'all can please add a parts list with the pictures it will make for a much better FB post. LT

  15. A Louisiana Cajun was stopped by a game warden because he had two ice chests full of fish. He was leavin' a bayou, well-known for its fishing. The game warden asked the man, 'Do you have a license to catch those fish?' 'Naw, sir', replied the cajun. 'I ain't got none of dem there licenses. You gotta unnerstan', dese here are my pet fish.' 'Pet fish?' 'Yeah. Evry night, I take dese here fish down to de lake and let 'em swim 'round for 'while. Den, when I whistle, dey jump right back into dis here ice chests and I take 'em home.' 'That's a bunch of hooey! Fish can't do that.' The cajun looked at the warden for a moment and then said, 'It's de truth Mr. Government Man. I'll show ya. It really works.' 'O. K.', said the warden. 'I've got to see this!' The cajun poured the fish into the lake and stood and waited. After several minutes, the warden says, 'Well?' 'Well, what?', says the cajun. The warden says, 'When are you going to call them back?' 'Call who back?' 'The FISH', replied the warden! 'What fish?', replied the cajun. Moral of the story: We may not be as smart as some city slickers, but we ain't as dumb as some government employees. You can say what you want about the South, but you never hear of anyone retiring and moving north.

  22. ^^^ Is what I've always understood to be the best to start with, then finish off with the good stuff. I'm not sure there's anyway to prove any one method is better than the next. Whoa hold on.....Armalite SASS and no pictures posted? >:D
