  4. what can a 4,000 dollar gun do that mine can't? Probably this > http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/gg240/nineisfine2/?action=view&current=REPR762mm.mp4 :o ;D This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will... My rifle and myself know that what counts in this war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, or the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit... My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will... Before God, I swear this creed. My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

  7. Someone might get a good deal here, too far away for me.... http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=5726670
  8. Bass Pro has some good bows that will do the job but if you are looking for the high end bows you will have to find a pro shop,Bass Pro is not a pro shop. Bowtech,Mathews,PSE & Hoyt are the best of the best. As far as broad heads go Rage broadheads have great reviews,if you prefer fixed blades look at the Muzzys. I shoot a 10yr. old PSE @73lbs D.W. w/Muzzy 4 blade broad heads.... I'd like a new Bowtech but I spent all my $$$ on a AR ;D
  9. If you believe the polls it's not looking good for the home team, if major changes don't come soon our kids futures will be very bleak. It makes me sick thinking about it :puke:
  10. Done <thumbsup>
  11. Is that selling price for scrap or reloadable ? You have to submit a form to the dod stating what it will be used for,I think as long as you're not shipping it internationally they don't care. The larger MM rounds must be destroyed before leaving the base.
  12. <munch>
  13. Thanks for the input guys, I had my hopes up until I found a link to past bid results, they're buying for close to the selling price :cookoo: I'm going to keep track of the next bids and jump in if I find one that I can make a good profit on. As far as selling to reloaders I would give it a shot, anyone want 20,000 lbs worth? ;D and FYI if any of y'all have some extra $$ laying around there will be a auction soon at Fort Benning for 400,000 lbs of used rifle brass <laughs>
  14. I buy military surplus SR25 mag pouches... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Paraclete-Armor-pre-MSA-SR25-double-mag-MOLLE-Pouch-Smoke-Green-New-Old-Stock-/320973945415?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4abb89ba47
  15. Question, is US military brass 100% brass, primer included? I'm thinking about bidding on a large quantity of used brass to resale as scrap.these would be .50 caliber and smaller. Thanks!
  16. Here in the deep south we (country people) cut our teeth hunting with dogs so most of our targets were moving, usually hauling azz!! <laughs>
  17. Damn september storm is heading stright towards me now :gtfo2: no big deal just a pain in the azz loosing power in this awful heat & humidity. The gas stations are already getting low on gas, grocery stores are out of EVERYTHING, I stocked up early <thumbsup> I have a question maybe y'all can help me with...what would be better a 6500 watt Honda gas generator or a 6500 watt Titan diesel generator?
  18. Done +10 <thumbsup>

  22. In that price range -DPMS,ARMALITE,ROCK RIVER ARMS,SIG SAUER?
  23. I don't own a DPMS but alot of guys on here do,i'm sure they will give you some feed back soon. From what I gather they are good guns and sale far more AR's than any other manufacturer. You can buy or build better AR's but they will hurt your wallet! :o If you tell us your budget we can better suggest the most gun for your $$$ Welcome to the forum! <thumbsup> Stay far away from CMMG's !! :puke:
  24. That DPMS w/16" barrel will take you to 500 +yards, here's another you might like if you're going to be doing alot of deer hunting http://www.remington.com/product-families/firearms/centerfire-families/autoloading-model-r-25.aspx don't quote me on this but I think Remington owns DPMS & Bushmaster.
