I would try a different mount, play with it. I replaced my vortex scope because I didn't like how I had to move my head around to get a good look thru it. Turns out it was my mount cuz the new scope did the same. The old one was a Burris p.e.p.r ended up replacing it with a Nikon mount. welcome to the forum from southern Wisconsin
