  5. Yeah yeah yeah, what can i say, unforgiven, but can you forgive me? The thing about Kalifornistan is the weather. It just can't be beat as far as I know. I've been to many places around the world, including China and many Asian locations. China weather was actually okay when I was there. But up here in S.F. Bay Area the air is so clean. In china location I was in the air was horrible, so much pollution, not the weathers fault. Japan was okay. But I wonder if the weather has something to do with why there be so many darned Commies here? You know, socialists, they are all just commies to me, same thing really. I mean they were all over the place in China...... <dontknow> Thanks guys!!
  6. Bullet button? Yes we do so I installed one. The Raddlok can be configured as a bullet button or regular non Kalifornistan function using a tool. In Kalifornistan mode it is a bullet button.
  7. Hi Guys, & Gals too??? So hey I like this site. Have been reading and enjoying the content you guys contribute, right on!! Yeah so I'm from the S.F. Bay Area and I gotta tell ya', there are commies all over the place. I dunno but I think they came from the east coast and China <dontknow> whatever... Anyway here I am <thumbsup> So okay I am in the middle of my LR-308 build so here's the list <munch> JD Machine's upper & lower set. Looks real nice. I went to a gun show over here at the Cow Palace in S.F. JDM had a real nice display, maybe the nicest one there. They showed off all their cool ish. Real nice receivers and I like the hand guard tubes too, so I bought one 14". You know what I was dead set on the Mega Arms MATEN matched set but at the gun show the FFL (and they are located like 7 minutes from my house) is there already and the JDM receivers looked so good I decided what the hell this way would be less hassle, right? Yeah right <lmao> Gun show was in January. Finally got my lower over a week ago now but at that time upper did not come with it. They told FFL that upper would be another two weeks out. I called JDM today to order some picatiny rails and asked them if my upper will be this week and they said 2 more weeks :o As someone said in a thread from this introductions forum recently, "JDM service sucks". Jeez.... okay fine I won't get my bolt and barrel for another 3/4 weeks anyway that is if JP means what they say <dontknow> Well I would have cancelled the whole JDM thing & got the MATEN set from Rainier Arms but I paid them all in cash at the show. It would have been easy to cancel if i used plastic so I'll just wait it out. I believe the product is good anyway it's just the service. They should tell the truth in the first place and I would be good. Sorry for the rant now on with the list. JDM receivers, matched set? No, "Engraved" matched set LOL!!!! How can u have a matched set when they aren't even made together? yeah.... By the way the lower they sent is very nice so far so good.... Stuff I have now JDM 14" tube I like it. & the lower receiver & I like it too it's perfect. Magpul UBR, MIAD Grip & AFG all in FDE. I stippled the AFG already Slash's CAR10-HX buffer with modified AR-10 spring. Smith Enterprises Vortex flash hider Phase 5 Tactical EBRv2/308 extended bolt release POF ejector port door RADDLOK magazine release button JP-EZ fire control system with safety selector. Installed in lower now, very nice trigger and safety selector too. JP Low Mass Carrier .308 JP bolt carrier completion kit JP low profile adjustable gas block JP mid length gas tube Fulton Armory selected lower parts and upper port door pin, C clip & spring too I think that's it but it seems like i forgot something Edit: yeah I forgot I have the BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 Charge Handle What is ordered but I'm waiting. JDM upper <dontknow> JP enhanced bolt .308 JP Supermatch barrel 16" stainless .308, add 50 bucks for their black teflon coating hope that looks good. Didn't want the standard polished stainless finish look. Yeah spent a lot with JP, like I gots me a JP rifle
  8. Oh I should have included above. The install of the JP-EZ trigger group ended up well enough. JP advertizes a 5 minute install up to 15 minutes depending on where you get their info from. It took me longer than that. Took my time and was being careful with everything. The anti walk pins they provide are .156" and in my new JDM lower it was pretty tight. I highly recommend using a brass punch of say a little less than .154 to use as a slave pin, I stuck it through holes opposite the side I was driving trigger/hammer pins through. Hold brass punch in against pins firmly while driving pins though. In my case it required some hard hits on pins before they started to really come through easier. At first I was beginning to wonder if the pins would start to come through but stick with it and they will and I advise a buddy to help with holding slave while you drive pins, i had my brother in law with me. I also used brass hammer that is included in my brass punch set. Next step is to install set screw for disconnector adjustment. This is too complicated for me to explain here it would take too long for me to put in writing. It's not really hard just to much to write and explain whats going on. Of course JP supplies a instruction book and a very intuitive video that you had better watch and refer to. Follow JP instruction exactly and you will succeed. When it gets to the disconnector adjustment keep in mind when you get to fine tuning it you use very small adjustment with the allen wrench for set screw. Don't apply supplied loctite until you do at least one dry run with any adjustments you do, it dries fast and is permanent. You can adjust overtravel but i didn't bother with it since there is not a lot of overtravel to begin with. The JP-EZ kit also comes with their own safety selector. This is installed first before trigger group but it is not completed until trigger group is all done. Follow the instruction for safety selector and you will be cool. Safety selector is very smooth and nice, I like it a lot!! You can also purchase other lever for selector from JP and have an ambi switch, like $17.00 me thinks.
  9. I just installed this in my lower, a JD Machine lower receiver, and what i can tell you so far is that the pull is crisp and extremely clean. There is no take-up or creep at all, none. The over travel is about 1/16", I would say. With hammer forward it looks like about 3/32" total trigger travel, if not that then it's less. I measured lbs. force to break and the scale indicated 4.5 lbs. Can't say how accurate that is though but it is good whatever it is. Still waiting on parts for the upper, the upper is also JDM, but everything in & out of the upper will also be JP components, the best they have. So I'll have to wait for the real test on the trigger, at least a month probably, JP trying to catch up on their .308 enhanced bolts, just like every other provider it would seem. But to thhe point, so far I am impressed with the JP-EZ fire control system.
  10. I just ordered JP enhanced bolt 1.5 weeks ago. But that's sort of a lie because I ordered a Supermatch barrel from them and the bolt happens to come with it which is cool. I was going to get that bolt anyway. I also ordered the low mass carrier and adjustable gas block. Figured it would all go well together, what the heck.... <dontknow>
