So my wife got her new car she's been wanting for christmas this year, I know a few weeks early but she couldn't wait, so she told me I can buy a new gun. Well its not often she tells me this so Ive been hunting for a better part of a week or so when this evening I walk into the LGS and he has 3 FNX tactical 45s sitting on the counter waiting to be checked into inventory, 2 in FDE. Well to make a long story short I popped on one of the FDE FNXs real quick as Ive never seen one actually in stock anywhere since I can remember. Its a sweet gun and the more I hold it the more I like it. And the best part is now I have something other than my AR with a threaded barrel, I feel a suppressor calling my name soon...

Im in depending on price as well 500 is way steep

Im currently in the process of building an ar15. the scratch and dent special from palmetto state on stripped uppers for 40 bucks got me started. Dam deals didn't even plan on building another gun and a stripped upper has me pricing and ordering parts left n right....i think it may end up OD green with this stuff...

if it is shortcycling wouldnt that be an undergassed problem? And on mine i wet down the bcg pretty well before sliding her in then put a few more squirts in through the ejection port before each session. Dripping wet is the way to go. And also....the other guys can correct me if im wrong...personally I wouldnt use grease. It seems like with the fouling involved with a gas operated rifle it would just create a gummy gritty muck that may cause more resistance than help

I bought a few tracer rounds at the local gun show today and on one of the cases there are some weird protrusions evenly spaced all the way around the neck of the case. Is this normal or safe to fire in any way? And what are these marks for? I attached a pic to show what i mean.

I think Ive finally found one that I like but it requires a quad rail which I dont have yet so I guess its time to upgrade. The only other ones ive found that mount on a rail mounted exactly where my eotech is so I couldnt use them.
