  1. Y not the FN 45? Great gun chambered in 45 and has a 15 round capacity....what else could you want?
  2. Their prices are a little off for their sale tho...80% AR15 lower 45 bucks, the drilling jig 76 bucks, but if you order the "kit" (lower and jig) its 138??? Just don't add up.
  3. I just ordered an upper from PSA a few months back during the Easter sale with pretty much those same specs. I love the midwest key mod rail, ultralite and would love a 308 version for my armalite!
  4. I just got a 1750 for fathers day, lucky me, and have yet to cut it out because Im not sure what I want to use it for yet. You have to cut them out or at least take a layer of foam out i tried closing it otherwise and I could stand on the thing and not get it to latch. Im also looking into the hot knife/wire approach of cutting it as well for a cleaner looking cut. Also check out some vids on plasticoating it afterwards. Supposed to make it stronger so the corners of your cuts won't rip and keep everything more secure by reducing movement.
  5. I did that at my last job and Im back at my "new old job" now as well. After being promised raises and promotions after getting above average reviews for 2 years, they finally did give me a raise, to the tune of .25 per hour more. I literally told my boss wtf am I gonna buy with that after taxes a 6 pack of beer on friday....He didn't like that and proceeded to tell me that if I wasn't happy I could find another job. By the next week I was working elsewhere...
  6. pretty much I have one i use to store ammo. I dont even put my guns in it because the door is so thin and the lock mechanism is so cheap a small crow bar and youre in. Might as well just hide them well instead of advertising them in a central location in a cheap locking cabinet is my theory.
  7. Just remeber a safe in that price range is probably gonna be chinese made. Save a few bucks and invest in a quality product made in the USA. Ive been eyeing sturdy safe company for a little while now and their torture tests on their safes seem to be top knotch. That being said it doesnt come with all the pretty interiers like the Winchesters etc, but it looks to be built like a rock.
  8. HALO 4 all the way right now. Anything else is just to easy for me. I can get on COD anytime and rule the match not so on halo though...
  9. Being that it is all one piece how do you put on a barrel? Im kinda confused on that one...
  10. Dam that SASS upper is more than I paid for my whole gun lol
  11. Been telling ya!!!!

Don't care to much for the Mead. I like to drink liquid hops myself. lol side note: NOLA brewing company has a brew out called Mecca Hopps, 8.8 % ally and hopped to the most extreme I've had in a while. Quite a great beer.
  13. That TMACs INC dude from those vids is overly jacked must juice up before his "workouts". Combining working out and shooting a little too much.
  14. I saw this yesterday and immediately thought, "Why didn't I think of this poop????". Do you realize the money our govt will pour into this if it is a viable technology?

    Homebrewers

Yeah I just can't see the cost savings with my current setup. I have brewed about 2 dozen brews over the years and have an easy 2k in equipment that Ive purchased over the years. I just gave away an entire setup to my brother in law a few months back to consolidate what I had to a manageable amount. I can currently brew 4 beers at a time although I only have 2 kegs right now so I only do 2 at a time since I don't bottle any longer. I still keep a few dozen grolsch flip tops around with some spare gaskets just incase for special occasion brews that needa come with on the road.
  16. Example as OCing as a deterrant... About a year ago or so I was at a friends body shop in Mid City New Orleans. We were looking at my truck that he was painting for me around 9pm one night in the lot. While we were talking a guy snuck up on us and we heard the rocks when he got too close for comfort. (about 6 foot away from us without announcing his presence) I spun around on him and his eyes immediately fixated on the stainless ruger I had on my hip with my hand on the holster strap. He floundered for a second trying to say hello, asked if what I had was a .357, and asked for a cigarette and left. From his demeanor and how he acted when "sneaking up" on us I could tell as well as my friend could tell he was up to no good and most likely about to try and rob us. Sometimes OC can be a deterrent.
  17. how would you attach this to a qd mount
  18. Seems like another idea to add "safety" by some people that know little of what they preach....
  19. When I was a kid my step dad raced a nitro funny car. It was The Cajun Hustler out of New Orleans. Self funded race team that only lasted a few years. Thats one expensive car to run. Engine rebuilds after each run, tranny rebuilds after a few passes, etc....Used to cost a few grand to race a weekend even in fuel and part costs....
  20. I would refuse to think bout it period. At what point will criminals "think about" using these. Hold on sir while I unlock my weapon is about right.

Pretty much a friend of mine got me into it with the lie that it was cheaper and it ended up being far more expensive in the end for me. All the accessories.....all the accessories... ::)
  22. I was skeptical at first as well so I bought a cheap no name brand comp from a gun show for around 40 bucks just to try it. Now Im thinking about graduating to a better higher quality one. My thinking is if the one I have did what it did what can a notable one do. I find that it took a substantial amount of recoil out. My gun was pretty violent and follow up shots were near impossible before now I can rapid fire off my bipod on target with no problem.

    Homebrewers

I grow my own Hops (none this year tho, the local brew shop closed down :( ) and just about everything I brew is hopped to the hilt. I love me some IPAs with high alky content. Im not all grain just yet I usually buy 2 - 4 kits from midwest and pick and choose ingredients to make 2 killer brews. Also the ingredient kits I buy are a hybrid as in half liquid malt half grain. I also have my garage fridge converted into a kegerator and use ball lock kegs I got from a friend to keg my brews. Much easier than bottling by far. So how deep into brewing are you so far, for me its just another addiction to spend my money on. Sure as hell doesn't end up cheaper than buying it by far. :hethan:
  24. Thats dudes awesome crazy fast shooting
