  1. Too many laws, and the too much pressure on the LEOs to enforce them all. We need fewer laws to enforce, and fewer reasons to hate and disrespect police. They don't deserve it, and have been put in a tough position.
  2. I am in real trouble. I am looking at a high capacity crew cab with extra power. Don't know if I am registered for that.

    Grilling

Everything in the picture needs to be rubbed down with a good quality flavored oil. Any volunteers?
  4. +2
  5. It is a bit more complex then that. That article came from a Russian sponsored news service designed to promote the interests of ....Russia. Ask the Poles if you can ever trust the Russians. Putin started his massive rearmament program during the George W. Bush years when GW "looked in his eyes" and supposedly saw a kindred soul. He has planned this all along and will continue no matter what we do or not. We are heading back to a cold war...period. And Putin bears the blame for that as well as the West. We put ourselves to deluded sleep thinking he would follow along with whatever we wanted to do. Keep manufacturing and upgrading the M-1a2 or whatever the designation is now. Put the F22 back into production, and upgrade our nuclear deterrent unless he stands down. That is the only thing he understands.
  6. I pray this is not the start of something bigger.
  7. Minnesota, then Dallas, How things can go wrong at both ends of the spectrum. I never remember feeling as hopeless about our country's problems as I do now.
  8. The Minnesota one is bad. Seems to be a mash up of bad communication, bad training, and fear on everyones part. Something has to give. We can't put our LEOs in situations like this. This guy was law abiding and well liked and respected by the community. It was a tragic screw up and the people involved are going to have their lives changed permanently. A lot of things have to change. Our LEOs put their lives on the line, and it has gotten so bad they don't know if a routine traffic stop will be it. Of such fear are mistakes made. Would he be alive if he had not mentioned he was carrying? Who knows. It is just bad and tragic for everyone involved.
  9. Me and my DeLorean! Never bother to set th date on those things.
  10. Nice price on those SMK's. I am still loading the 168's and 175's I got. It will be a while before I use them up.
  11. I think Ms Bear is expressing her opinion of the presidential candidates this year.
  12. My back yard yesterday
  13. Enjoy every second of your richly deserved retirement.
  14. Hard to get motivated to reload at that price.
  15. No wonder they keep shipping the Kurds G36's. They also have decommissioned all but 230 of their Leopard 2's. Has anybody told them that Putin just reconstituted the 1st Guards Tank Army?
  16. Oh yeah! Memories of my misspent (or well spent) youth. Had a lady friend who was on a state championship level softball team. Games, beer, parties, beer, parties...did I say games? A lot of fun while it lasted.
  17. That lady had to have a sweet swing! From the looks of his face she would have cleared the fence.
  18. Guessing if it is ISIS they might want to keep quiet in the hope that the Turks blame the Kurds. And vice-versa. Turkish politics is a game within a game within a game. Just like ours.
  19. Just watched an episode of the above show on the Nat Geo Channel. This one was about the Black Hawk down event that happened in Somalia. It looks like a pretty decent show with interviews with Rangers and Black Hawk pilots that were involved. Hope the rest of the series is as good.
  20. DOT TAC SWAT....... Catchy little moniker there. Or is it something to do with sex? Or how about T and A's for the TSA?

Magwa, Superior Browns are incredible. My wife's favorite fish. Even the big ones have a good flavor, so I usually save the smoking for Lake Trout and Chinooks. They don"t feed on Alewives like those in Michigan which causes the greasy flavor. Smelt and Lake Superior Shiners and insects up here are the main food sources. By the way, just saw this about Columbia River Sockeye, hope they are headed your way. http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/decent-numbers-of-sockeye-still-returning-to-lake-washington-and-the-columbia-and-baker-rivers/?utm_content=buffera77b6&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer
  23. I am with you. Both are great scopes for the price. One each on my 308 ARs
