  1. Looking forward to the next installment. Always entertaining.
  2. I had heard reports of this. I think it uses a new recoil dampening system if I am not mistaken.

  4. The Bradley's 25mm chain gun might be a good compromise. Blue, fill us in on your opinion on the 25 mm. Hope it is better than your opinion of the Bradley.
  5. Let me guess, I'm the bus driver. Gonna bring my AR10T any way.?

    RIP Gene Wilder

A great comedian and actor. Just walked away from Hollywood in his prime. Vaya Con Dios Mr. Wilder, thanks for what you gave us.
  7. Had a BMF that I used with my old AR180 in the mid 70's and a 40 round mag I got from somewhere. A blast! How to go through 700 rounds in a day and have nothing but 200 perforated cans to show for it.
  8. I downloaded a bunch of stuff years ago when I got my first one. Glad I did. I bet it will come back, but there will be a charge of some sort.
  9. Sounds like they just set up the opportunity for a nice consulting business for mrraley.
  10. Follow up, Went through two magazines today, 40 rounds, flawless. Problem solved.
  11. I know, but if R2 is the Armalite Man, Then I at least got his back. Love my AR10's!
  12. First problem I have ever had with either of my Armalites. Have probably 2,000 rounds through the two of them.
  13. Thanks Brother, being an Armalite, probably will be good to go for another few thousand rounds, but I will message you if I need some.
  14. Went back in, replaced extractor, spring and O-ring. Had to use the old spring spacer as there wasn't one in the spare parts kit. We will see if it works.

    Great Music

Islands sounds allright, You got them every which way from where you live.
  16. Did not replace the extractor, but I have an extra one if I need to.
  17. I took my AR10T carbine out the last couple of days, and ran into a problem. Yesterday, I had a Failure to extract for the first time, then the rifle didn't go into battery. I got the cartridge out, which was a reload, and thought it may have been an improperly sized case. So today I took it out with some NATO Standard M80 ammo. The first four rounds were fine, then I had another failure to extract with factory ammo. I got the empty case out and went hunting for the other empty brass. Of the five cases, the one that failed to extract and one other had part of the rim with metal torn away, like the extractor had grabbed hold then came off the rim, taking some brass with it. My LGS guy is thinking the chamber is a little smaller than spec, causing the cases to stick, although I was able to push them out with a cleaning rod, and even though this has never happened before in the three years I have owned and shot the rifle. Before messing with that, we figured replacing the extractor would be worth a try. When I broke the BCG down, I found the rubber washer on the extractor spring was broken, and there was a substance like red loctite in the center of the spring that was preventing it from compressing. Do you guys think that may be the problem? I won't get a chance to go out shooting for a few days, so I won't know for sure for a while. If it still does it, we are going to carefully polish the chamber. Being a "T" it should be a snug chamber, just don't know if that is the issue or not.
  18. Kind of the Sherman tank mentality. if you can make 5000 light tanks, maybe they can defeat 500 heavy tanks by sheer numbers. Never mind the crews you waste.

    Great Music

What good music acts have you seen lately? Last night saw The Fabulous Thunderbirds, followed by Johnny Lang. Within 30 feet of the stage. The house was a rockin!
  20. German Restaurant close to downtown, and riverwalk. There serve a whole pork shank on a bed of mashed potatoes that is death by pork. You want to stop eating it because you are full, but you can't because its so damn good. 75 different kinds of German beer.
  21. Not to change the subject, but talking about Milwaukee, I am getting a Maders Pork Shank craving.
  22. That is what I told my dog when I picked him up at the vet, and he wasn't very happy about it.
  23. I normally hunt deer up here with a 30-06, but a number of years ago a neighbor built a house near my property that crowds the property line, which cuts into the safety factor of using a high velocity rifle. So when I hunt that part of the property I use a 12 gauge slug gun instead, still keeping a considerable distance away. The two deer I have shot with it act totally differently. With a rifle, even with a heart shot, they go down, get up and run 50 feet or so then collapse. With the 12 gauge slug gun they go down, period. One was a running shot that I hit it in the neck. Didn't matter. Went down and stayed down. Where I hunt a long shot is 75 yards, so I am using the 12 gauge slug gun more often and the 30-06 less.
