Ya that is very poor finish. I would see whatt they say. I think SI is having trouble keeping help. And my be struggling a bit i talked to them yesterday on the phone and i was not impressed. I am a SI pusher to so this sucks. The set should have came with the set screws mine sure did.

I looked hard at those and still my get one but the one aac had for the 300wm/338lp was almost 300 bucks im sure the breakout would work but would the suppressor hold up to 300. Probly would. If i don't like the BABC will be spending the money on a AAC product. Exspecialy when i finally find the money for a can. .

So i finally went with a battlecomp BABC in matte stainless. found them on sale (SKD TAC) got it sent to the door for 189. Not to bad. hope it tames the 300wm the 5R is very light i was very surprised on its weight

It my be sure works good on the 308 You can pick them up at NEMO 's online store for around 60 bucks i think i paid

Nemo is using a flash hider instead of a break witch i really like works really well on my 308. Think it would look kinda funny on a bolt gun though

Ya I have an SI Defence muzzle brake , but I wasnt sure if it would work on the WM so I called them and asked if it would be ok. Was a new guy I hadn't talked to before said he would ask and call me back. He never called back. So was looking at other options. I feel like if it's threaded 5/8 24 you would think they all would work but I would hate to be wrong. I see gemtech has a new one out for magnums been looking there too.

Trying to rap up harvest and got bunch of haying left to do so it's going to be all work and no play unless I can catch a calm morning my go and see if I can hit the 1000 yard steel with the 308 I haven't tried yet I was working on a rock at 800 the other day wind was horrible had a 10 moa hold to the right. Rifle was suppose to be here yesterday. So i head down to pick her up this morning had my 6-24 bushnel tactical under my arm thinking mount it up bore sight it and head to the range. NOPE fedex didn't deliver it yesterday so know i gotta Jones till Tuesday just to even get it. Its sitting in GrwatFalls MT 4.5 hours away. What a let down.

So have a rem 700 5R inbound in 300WM been looking at muzzel breaks all over the web. was wondering if you guys had any prefrence. Was rolling around the idea of a battle comp in stainless. They say there good on the 300WM Any info welcome

Pulled an R2 today!!! i went and pickup up my rock river ATH. I was talking to my gun pusher about getting a rem 700 5R. he said funny thing you said that a bunch just came up for grabs from where e ver there supplier is at. So i said ok order it up so now there will be a 5R in 300 win mag 24in threaded barrel waiting for me on Friday! DAMN these guys are good. I will be forever broke . But should be a sweet rifle!!!

Ya I hear ya on supplies any loaded bullet is better then not. I've been lucky and my LGS has and a good supply of Sierra and Bergers so I have been lucky in that department. I hope you get them shooting like ya want. Had pretty good luck with accuracy out of the 165 Sierra game king if you can find any matchkings. Then ya have a hunting bullet as well.

I haven't heard much good about the A max bullet lately. And with thoses measurements your givin that's just ridiculous. That's suppose to be there match bullet! The long range guys I have been shooting with wont use them. all Berger or Sierra.

My Si build i call "The Mistress" since the other half kept telling me i hold it more then her lol. The other ar 15 was dubded the Black Widow. Now the new RRA have yet to come up with one once i get it all decked out see how she comes out

I'm an eastsider flat lander kinda guy but we have a cabin just across the river from glacier national park. Right where the cabin is the highest concentration of grizzle bears in lower 48. Being a flat lander im use to being able to see someone coming from miles away. Where at the cabin you can only see maybe 50 yards. It takes a little getting use to. But its a great spot. Glacier is great have done lot of backcountry hiking in the park. Hope to do some wolf hunting over there this winter at some point.

Took my rifle to my buddies 1000 yard range this evening.did a little little zeroing work then went out to 500 meters I was shooting some magtec 150 fmj. We are shooting at a 16in steel disk. Put few rounds on the steel. Probly would have put more on but the fmj where going right through the steel target and we making adjustment not knowing they where punching right through. Gun ran flawless again anther 20 rounds down range. We also worked on his GA Persion 6.5 creedmore bolt gun put three rounds in the center and a little left on the same 16in Steal disk at 900 meters. Was a good day at the bench.
