  1. ah couldn't tell from the pics whether it had its pins or not, I don't have any pins, so i'd need a set of pins for these, but don't need a second set. Take $100 paypal'd right now?
  2. definitely. I make it up to the hernando sportsmans club, that's where you shoot right? I need to get a generic buttpad to stick on, its missing its normal one
  3. Yeah, I blued the barrel, got an FCG. So now I need to start doing woodwork on the nice stocks so I can mount them :) the Rhineland tiger maple ones with cheek riser
  4. Welcome from FL I've got quite a few friends in San Antonio, and my company's secondary HQ is in Boerne. Vaguely considering moving there in the next year or two
  5. Can't recall if I put up a pic of this one before, but its here now. finally got the last pieces to complete her. Should be able to put some 54r downrange this weekend
  6. do you happen to have a spare set of pins too?
  7. don't see a whole lot of US military SKS rifles :D
  8. I only did because literally I was discussing it with a machinist friend yesterday, who is thinking about doing it for his own 308 AR that is having feed issues :D
  9. we get a lot of barrel nuts here. Mostly the "it has to be at least 26" so I can shoot 1400 yards, but it has to weigh less than a pound and be foldable so I can carry it in heavy thorned brush" type. ;) welcome from FL
  10. its possible, there are a few factory ones but the parts aren't available to retrofit one easily. I know someone who is working on doing it himself, we'll see where he gets over time
  11. Welcome from FL. Where in Alabama? I used to work for a company out of Troy, may have a trip up to Dothan sometime soon.
  12. what I had heard as well from an ex-employee was that all the customer form 3'd ones were together (although not anodized) but that the investment group scavenged parts off already form 3'd ones to have more complete ones for the auction from the parts. I heard one guy got a tube and end caps only, no baffles even....
  13. there are supposed to be springs, the o-ring should go on the end caps. I really hate that investment group
  14. yeah, true, he has to have form 3s on them with serial #s. lemee look at a form 3 example, it may not have the purchasers info on it. If it doesn't and he is willing to give me the serial #s, I can find what person they are associated with
  15. the investors who took over made a total disaster of it all.
  16. this frankengun parts kit came today. I do have the forward handguard too, just didn't put it there for the picture. And yepper, she's another 308 for the stable :)
  17. well, I started with none :D i'll show some pics once I get the next set in

    You AZ guys

well, he doesn't permanently lose the firearms, they'll be returned once the restraining order gets thrown out or expires. I don't think a trust would have changed that.
  19. honestly, the 2 stage cmmg isn't that bad. its not that good either :D
  20. I got a hammer spring, only to find out that when I tried to put together everything else, I had a non-matching trigger + disconnector. the disconnector was the type that rides on a sleeve, but the trigger pin hole was sized for a pin only. It was spares from the bottom of someone's toolbox, so I talked around to some other friends and I should have a correct matching trigger/disconnector in the mail today. We'll see :)
  21. if you're going to, lemee know and i'll paypal you the $ or drop it off for you to pick one up for me :D
  22. Dangit, they don't take paypal. I guess I have to make a payment on a credit card then :D
  23. hmm dammit I should get at least one
  24. good deal!
