  1. I love my job but I'm still working on growing that second set of eyeballs so I know when some drunk or moron with a phone is about to hit me while on a stop.

    Dads day

I hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day. I took my 5 year old fishing and he caught his first bass without any help. Later on it was off to the range, after a brief temper tantrum by him. The highs and lows of parenthood.
  3. All things considered, that's not a bad loaded weight. I need to come for a visit now .
  4. ^^^Agreed^^^ Now that you have everything together, what is the overall weight? Minus the bipod, of course. You're making me want one now and we expect a test fire video next.
  5. Ha, nice!
  6. Tisk tisk, now you're taking money away from your next lower purchase.
  7. I'm in for XXL for each (2)
  8. That's insane! I'd love to try something like that.
  9. That's correct. Just make sure the headspacing is done properly. Mine was great with .308 but had extremely tight headspacing on 7.62x51. After a few hundred rounds, I tested it with M80 ball and it fired it flawlessly. Go with Edge on the .308 to start off with. No need to fire ultra high end rounds but start off with good quality stuff for the first few hundred or so. A lot of it is preference. Some refuse to use anything but the best while others don't want to waste the money. I would zero in with quality stuff after break-in. When it's time, grab a few different 20 rd boxes (Black Hills, Hornady, etc) and find out what your rifle likes and zero in with that.
  10. ^^^Agreed. A person should be well trained to hit out to some of those distances that that tech makes look easy. It is nice though. The only thing that I'd love to have with my scope(s), besides outstanding clarity, is a built in range finder. Of course some already have this feature but it would be nice to see it in more scopes.

    Ammo & Goodies

Edge, I've never bought ammo from them and I know some sites can be a pain with certain shipping addressses (Ma). I know MA people who have ordered bulk ammo online to MA home addresses and haven't had issues. I would call or email to ask. I think it's a site to site basis thing.

    Ammo & Goodies

Whoops lol. You one up-ed me by chosing a better topic category. I was wondering which was best. As long as it's out there. I was tempted to buy that ammo but I have my lowers so no rush when I don't have the money for it anyways. The Magpul CTR is a good deal too. I want one bad.
  13. Very expensive paperweight indeed and the person would likely lack the skills to hit anything out at an extreme distance. Great point, Unforgiven.
  14. Some ADI 5.56 900 ct just came into stock here and some other nice items. Not rock bottom prices but better than a lot of others out there. I've had luck with his site. Although it's not as big as some others, they have a good selection at times. http://www.aimsurplus.com/
  15. Welcome from MA. Military time is the only time. Good selection with the Armalite...enjoy.
  16. Unfortunately true. It does take almost all the skill out of the equation. It's the perfect rifle system for the Call of Duty Generation.
  17. Very entertaining video to see that in action. It's hard to believe we have snipers making more difficult shots on smaller targets at great distances (at times) and with a lot less tech. I'm sure many scopes will have similar tech in the not so distant future.

    Pic Of The Day

I think if that was a normal stop than most guys would work in law enforcement.
  19. It is odd how it fits and almost looks deformed from the bottom side pic. Ultimately, as long as you like shooting with it then who cares.
  20. No more jokes, just buy buy buy. I would have 10 in my safe if I lived in Maryland. Who knows, maybe MA is right behind you.
  21. Welcome. Here's a pic below from Troy Industries. They deal with DPMS style receivers and have two different high quality rails to offer for the different sizes. They are far from the only ones that will have the rail you need but they show the measurements.
  22. Every so often I'll look on NE Shooters for the forum and classifieds but am very careful of some of the buys there. I've heard of other issues other than this one.
  23. Oh well, at least there's the ultra secure Facebook.
  24. Well, that will be enough from you two. The closest I get to a donut is pealing out after someone. ...It would be a terrible shame if Edge got any special packages that might draw attention to him while he's being re-educated at New Braintree. Terrible terrible shame...what's your favorite color? Just curious.
  25. Greg, do you have Verizon? The liberal ninjas are in the trees and tapping the lines.
