  2. Great pics. I've never actually gone to a show but would like to.
  3. Interesting video. I've been planning to use cerakote for a while on at least two of my future builds. I was surprised at the FailZero results but it still did fairly well.
  4. My father had a similar mindset. He stayed in the union at GMC and avoided the promotions to avoid having to get involved in corporate matters and once people leave they open themselves to getting fired at the drop of a dime. Keep your eyes open for something better, brother. The life is too short adage applies. Good luck with whatever happens.
  5. It definately sucks if you want the extra work and can't get it. I could literally work double shifts of extra work 6-7 days a week if I wanted but I'd just be saving up for a divorce if I did that. I've been working alot though since May. I'd say 65-75 hrs per week. Given that I have a state job, it is nice to have the security but some of the extra roadwork we do on highways is such a waste and completely unnecessary.
  6. They're interesting. I had never even heard of them before. I would drive myself crazy if I started another different build though. I'll have to just sit this one out and admire the pics.
  7. ^^^^One of the nicest machine guns I've fired but it's a heavy SOB to carry around.
  8. Most people I encounter that flash the MMA swag either on a T-shirt, through a sticker, or in any other way, are typically fans first and have very little background in using that particular fighting style. This has risen to an almost nauseating level. I've been taught basic defensive tactics to combat aggressive fighters that seek to bring a person to the ground within a few seconds but have few chances to commit them fluidly to muscle memory. The best thing to do is keep a safe distance to get the chance to react quickly. Just like any experienced fighter, a MMA trained fighter is dangerous and if you can't draw a weapon than you better be prepared to strike a critical area quick (temple, eyes, throat, balls, etc...).
  9. Thank you, big time.
  10. Crap, I just watched it again. It's borderline hypnotic.
  11. So true
  12. Holy crap, When and where does she surf? I am now a competitive surfing fan...that on ESPN12 or something? lol
  13. Short and sweet... Exactly what my reaction would be too.

If you want to get really anal retentive, take Ted Nugent off the good guy list. Have you ever read the High Times interview he gave back in the day on how he dodged the draft? http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/nugent.asp He's scum and now he wants to be a spokesperson for our rights? Sorry, I had to throw that monkeywrench in and now we are completely off the thread subject, lol. Now I have to stop by my local Redbox to contribute something. I did see Turbo with my 5 yo son. He loved it and it wasn't that bad as a parent.

I haven't heard too much on Washington. He's a phenomenal actor though, even if some of his movies are so so recently. I personally don't get too carried away with the whole actor anti-gun theme. There are exceptions like the ones I mentioned and Stallone. He's at the top of my hypocrite list. An actor who has immortalized himself from violent action movies might want to shut his trap when it comes to anti-gun statements. He looks like a melting wax sculpture now anyways lol. I second Robo's post...great actors.

I hate to burst your bubble, brother. He's one of the hypocrites... http://www.gunsandammo.com/2013/01/28/8-examples-of-hollywood-anti-gun-hypocrisy/ Don't get me wrong, some of these actors are very talented and I have enjoyed some of their movies in the past but many of their anti-gun rants have kept me out of the theaters. Can there be two bigger hypocrites than Damon and Wahlberg? I'm sure there are but these two sh!theads are outspoken about their views yet can't seem to get away from firing off thousands of rounds in their movies. WTF... I don't personally research actors beliefs for every movie that comes out (I have better things to do with my time) but if they make it on my radar for one reason or another I'd prefer to pass on them.
  17. I was assigned to be a Bradley Gunner for one training rotation while in the Army. I appreciate it more now after the fact but wanted out of that bastard whenever I was in it. We used to joke around and call it our steel coffin.

  19. You didn't hear about the dupleted uranium handgun and rifle rounds at Walmart back then? lol.

    I Phone BS

What drives me bananas is when I'm driving and I ask to call a certain number and it says ... sorry, I'm unable to find that name/person and asks if I mean...it then repeats that f-ing person's name verbatim...wtf?!? So much for a smart phone.
  21. I have the Seekins 223 lower with that catch and love the design.
  22. Yikes, brother...sorry to hear about the problems. On a much smaller note, I think I pulled a muscle in my right foot arch over a month ago and it still f*cking kills to just walk. Send the waaahmbulance over my way too.
  23. ^^^LOL...why do I have a feeling that that bike will have disc brakes and diamond encrusted reflectors.
  24. Wow, congrats! A family friend went to a similar event a few years back and literally won 3 out of a dozen of the prizes. There was a good turnout too and he almost got jumped on his way out the door lol.
