  1. Sure would like to see a JP Recoil Eliminator in the mix.
  2. Looks to me like those track units are held on by gravity alone. I can see one coming off in difficult terrain, or even worse, dropping off the wheel when you hit a pothole at 50 mph. Very impressive though!
  3. 590 Here's the link: http://www.thecutekid.com/photo-contests/20131214/my-baby-photo-1387045776 Go fer it!

  7. 424 now. And for your convenience, here's the link to the voting place: http://www.thecutekid.com/photo-contests/20131214/my-baby-photo-1387045776
  8. More pix of gun gal Army first lieutenant cheerleader Rachel Washburn: Here she is with her "squad". She's second from the left:
  9. The more I look at that video, the more I think, "No way is a barrel that flexible." Maybe there's something about the camera pixelating the image or something.
  10. NFL cheerleader trades in pom-poms for assault rifle KHOU, Houston, Texas December 23, 2013 A former NFL cheerleader has traded in her pom-poms for an assault rifle. Rachel Washburn is now a first lieutenant with the U.S. Army. http://bit.ly/K3zPVj Pic of Rachel Washburn: http://bit.ly/1bqhtnD
  11. Too bad they dont' say how many votes went with previous winners.
  12. I've bedded 4 rifles and used plastic cling wrap for release agent on all of them. Worked flawlessly.
  13. 348
  14. Damn, that's painful. Probably threatened him with a trip to the Gulag.
  15. Good to see someone actually looking at at barrel harmonics instead of just talking about them. There certainly seems to be bad news there for compensators--vibrations like that easily cover 6 MOA or more. It also appears there's room to doubt the popular wisdom of free floating the barrels. Let's hope the author continues doing good work like this.
  16. When I do an online image search of 'Tacticat', it's amazing how few pics there are of tacticats. Maybe we should start a thread, like 'girls with guns', only 'cats with guns', and do something about this.
  17. Here is a photo of Tacticat: When Tacticat is unarmed, he is still dangerous!
  18. It's not $100, but it's hard to improve on the USMC Ka-Bar.
  19. done again.
  20. done.
  21. manhole covers.
  22. Has anyone ever built a rifle that cost less than the price of buying a new rifle complete?
  23. Interesting how the barrel didn't split along the lines of the rifling.
  24. This morning, December 1, 2013, Armadillo Supply just updated its page on the DPMS/SR25 .308 Lula mag loaders. Instead of stating it's an "advance reserved order" it's just a regular order page now! http://www.speedloaderstore.com/contents/en-us/p390.html These critters are now available just in time for stocking stuffers!
  25. I just put in an order for a 7.76/.308Win SR25/DPMS Maglula speedloader from Armadillo Supply. It's still listed as an "advance paid order" but Maglula is now finally making them and one guy in a discussion thread says he just got his Armadillo order filled. This will be my Xmas stocking-stuffer for myself!
