  1. PSA is having a free shipping weekend when you spend $50+. Grab some Prvi Partizan M80 for only $.60/rnd! http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/prvi-partizan-m80-308-winchester-145gr-fmjbt-20rd.html
  2. Welcome! If you don't plan on running your gun with the stock as short as possible (think AR-15 fully collapsed) then I'd suggest getting a longer (Armalite or Vltor A5) receiver extension, Armalite AR10 action spring, and just use standard AR-15 buffers.
  3. Yup, the new G3 .308 PMAGs are out there. I bought a few.
  4. Well for reference, Slash's .308AR carbine heavy buffers come in at 5.6oz and 6.5oz.
  5. A 12oz buffer??? Damn that's heavy! Is your CMMG super overgassed or something?
  6. Is that measured at the muzzle or if not, how far down? I know M118LR is spec'd at 2580fps, but that's also measured like 90yds from the muzzle.
  7. Hrm, maybe. Although I haven't had any issues with the CBC 168gr stuff or your privi.
  8. Hrm, that seems perfectly normal/reasonable for M80. I wonder why I've been getting so many popped primers with it. Maybe luck would have it that you just happened to get 10 good rounds... lol Thanks for doing the test!
  9. Hrm, looks like an older 500 with the long mag tube. 20" barrel? Are you going to put a stock on it? I can't say I like pistol grips on a mossberg 500/590 since they interfere with the action release and make reaching the safety more difficult. I recommend putting a vang comp follower in your mag tube. Don't get the GG&G one though as their tolerances are fairly loose and you might have to grind it down to get it to fit...
  10. Seconded, and I own a piston .308 AR!
  11. I'll see if I need it. I tried Robo's gun with the XH (6.5oz) buffer and it cycled too slowly for my taste. Slash's next lightest buffer is 5.6oz (same weight as the H3). It didn't make sense for me to pay $99 for the 5.6oz CAR-10 buffer or $75 for the 6.5oz AR-15 carbine buffer when I can get an H3 for $37. I don't know if your MK214 has the same receiver extension as mine, but the Mod1 uses standard AR-15 carbine buffers.
  12. Just a few things: -BCM H3 buffer to soften my PWS MK216's recoil impulse a bit. -BCM Gunfighter Grip Mod 3 to try it out (I have the Mod 0 and Mod 1 which I feel are slightly too thin). -KAC Thumb rests to replace the LaRue index clips I've been using as thumb rests. -KAC URX 4 13" rail! This might actually give my Noveske NSR the boot!
  13. Dude, your blaster was a damn near breeze to shoot! Just tuck it in slightly, take a nap on the stock, grab some popcorn and a movie, then pull the trigger. No popcorn on that floor! The brake wasn't nearly as bad to be around as I thought it'd be (certainly not as bad as the battlecomp). I guess I need to watch more of their videos then, I damn near knocked myself over with that first string haha. I guess that's what happens when I go from shooting your rifle with little recoil to mine =P. I've got an H3 buffer on the way to cut that down a bit.
  14. I have the Raddlock, Vamfire MLD, and Vamfire Freelock. Of those I like the MLD the best.
  15. Sorry, no lot number. The boxes came all torn up so I just tossed the rounds into my ammo can and threw away the boxes. The rounds were made in 2012 though.
  16. My CBC brass doesn't get torn up by my extractor. I still wouldn't buy their M80 though since a lot of rounds have had popped primers after firing... (their 168gr "sniper" ammo has been reliable though).
  17. Yup, a BCM midlength 16" LW barrel upper receiver group with that rail is what I'm waiting for to finish my LW build.
  18. Everywhere I've looked online is sold out of the 175gr FGMM. Not many sporting goods or white box stores in CA carry ammo. There some for sale on various forums, but they all want ridiculous prices for them. No way am I paying close to $1/rnd for surplus M80 ball ammo. Maybe $0.65/rnd (including shipping).
  19. And purchased! Thanks man!
  20. Haven't been able to get my hands on any. Not interested in paying $2/rnd for them.
  21. Sweet! A quality lower-cost keymod option. I'll be waiting for one of these to pop up on a PSA complete upper...
  22. I use an electric meat carver. Cheaper, and works well. I've cut the foam in my Storm im3100 cases for my AR15 and PWS MK216.
  23. I've only been able to pull off 1.5" groups with my MK216, but that could be me or the ammo. I'm looking for some FGMM/118LR 175gr to see what that'll get me. So far I've only used the CBC 168gr "sniper" ammo and the CBC M80 ball. BTW don't buy the CBC M80 ball. I can't get through 10rnds of that stuff without a failure. That stuff is loaded too hot. I've been getting a lot of popped primers with it and some of it caused my firing pin retaining pin to get bent which caused more malfunctions.
  24. Nice choice. I'm surprised you didn't get the flash comp version.
