  1. Lawyers...it's all about lawyers. If not for them, Darwin's theory of evolution will not have stalled on the human race.
  2. You need alll sorts of parenting and safety certifications to take in foster kids, while anyone out there can make their own without any parenting lessons. Go figure.
  3. ^^^ +1 on the botched execution. My first response was "why is this news?"
  4. Headspace - an illustrated explanation
  5. They're starting young these days - here's something from a few miles away from me.... http://www.cbsnews.com/news/arizona-teen-sexually-assaulted-18-girls-maybe-more-cops-say/
  6. Nice... what kind of paint is that?
  7. Why not a 45ACP, 40S&W, or 357 sig?
  8. good old Bushnell TRS25 with a medium height (0.83") riser for absolute co-witness, and 1" for lower 1/3 co-witness. You can get the entire thing (riser + RDS) for less than $100. It's a tubular sight so its easier to keep clean, unlike open reflex sights....
  9. You got to move it in and out repeatedly too. It will all loosen up.
  10. Screw quads... I want one of these! until then I'd be happy with a nice dirt bike.
  11. ouch!
  12. It's really dependent on the bullet, especially when it comes to OTM/BTHP match bullets. These projectiles don't usually have a flat or uniform meplat so the COAL when measured at the tip can be 0.2-0.4mm off (0.007"-0.015"). The right way to consistently measure the length is using a bushing that indexes on the projectile body and not the tip, and add the correction to get the "real" COAL measurement. Related question - does anyone here use a meplat uniformer? Wondering if they'are worth the expense.
  13. I think their website did not reflect their on-hand inventory. Checked in earlier this week and they took off a bunch of stuff from their website which also included the 20-round P226 mags I ordered. On hindsight, I should have ordered from Midway. They've yet to screw up any order.
  14. Troy? (Alpha/TRX/MRF for the 308). They are available in lo-pro and old-pro i.e. high profile. I got a 13.8" TRX on my 308. Samson Evolution for the 308 (also available in lo-pro)
  15. Dang it! I really should be making uppers.
  16. I've always been weary of the US Optics line of stuff... heard bad things about it but this is the first I've seen of them. Could they be outsourced to an overseas manufacturer?
  17. I've messed with these three: (L to R - no name $30 knockoff JP Cooley, $35 ebay wannabe "dynacomp" , $85 Spike's Dynacomp Extreme) #1 on the left works pretty well for $30. It's currently on the 308. Sideblast is "noticeable" but not too annoying and I'm getting improved groups over the standard birdcage A2 flash hider. #2 in the middle works very well - used it on the 300 BLK and was a pleasure to shoot, but was a hair too short (14.5" barrel) #3 on the right - impressed with #2, I decided to go with the Spike's Dynacomp Extreme on the 300 BLK so I could pin it on properly to make everything legal. I figure the performance will be about the same as #2, if not better. Haven't tested it yet.
  18. Armalite? It's pure cråp! <laughs> <lmao> (OK I'm going to have to hide from Ron now)
  19. #$^%*#&$@^%#(&^$!!!! Shipment arrived today. Only the little-bits arrived - 4 Sig P226 mags NOT SHIPPED! Note included about the items not being in stock and order is being processed for refund. 3 $%^%&@ weeks for this crap.

    well....

Mil-Comm TW25B to lube my Sigs. It comes in a familiar tube format. Squeeze, apply generously, and massage it in. http://www.amazon.com/Mil-Comm-TW25B-grease-tapered-tube/dp/B0035J4H3O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1399042007&sr=8-2&keywords=TW25b ... the rifles get CLP.
  22. Scratch that. I think they were the standard M-400 rifles. ....on 2nd thought, I think that copter (above) is probably packed with LOLs! Just use your creativity with it and make videos as you do stupid stunts with the copter.
  23. I was born/raised in Singapore before moving to the States. We had 4 mil or so then in 270+ sq miles (about 3x the size of DC), and zero guns available to civilians. ....but all males in the country have military training of some sort or other. BTW, welcome to the forum!
  24. ......just like those low rider baggy pants. Don't they think ahead at all, like how those will hamper their getaway? The alternative theory.....
