  1. Yeah, put some Rancho offroad shocks and offroad wheels/tires on the Corvette so he can make it there.
  2. Bergdahl "released" today! He's waited long enough over the border in Pakistan.... http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/31/world/asia/afghanistan-bergdahl-release/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
  3. B, because there are cheaper options for glass out there, and the elite iron bipod isn't all that.
  4. Yup...in a prettier package. Like Scarlett Johansson.
  5. You have me wondering if I should stick a 338 fed barrel on the DPMS upper receiver that I just bought off gnat.
  6. Would be nicer if it can be modded to take a 20-round mag of 30-06. :D
  7. The rest of us aren't elite enough for that stuff.
  8. Better idea - push him over. Trip him. Make him fall, but don't stop running.
  9. I suppose my Atlas doesn't meet the official 308AR.com approval... :( Curse my cheap ass.....
  10. Too fiddy??
  11. Fai dorra?
  12. No, there's no specific BUIS. All you do is zero the sights to a specific distance (50/200 yds on mine) and then learn how to hold over/under or use the elevation adjustment if there's one available. Note that most elevation calibrations for AR-style rifles are for 5.56

    well....

Congrats!!! Makes me want to run out an buy a P220 Scorpion TB....have to fight the urge....
  14. "Anything that is built well, has good adjustment range, and holds a zero." PSA is running a special on the Magpul MBUS PRO ($124.99 vs $180ish) . Well built, robust etc. I bought a set some time ago for my 308. You could cheap out like I just did on my 300 BLK with these (I try not to disappoint, especially you, Ron <laughs> ).
  15. DNP tuns up everywhere. We've spotted him out here in AZ too.
  16. Man up and use iron sights. :D That got me to 300 meters back in the military days.
  17. .....so while you're saving up, get something from Cabelas. Return it 179 days (or less) later, pick something better and pay the difference with the credit from the return. Repeat until ultimate satisfaction is reached!! ::) ...and if budget is a big issue right now, look at the Bushnell Banner Dusk/Dawn series 6-18 x 50 mil dot if you want to reach out for longer ranges. With the mil-dot reticle, it gets you used to mil/mil ranging calculations that's standard on most long range scopes. Here -- less than $120 and you're good to go. http://www.amazon.com/Bushnell-Banner-Series-Riflescopes-Choose-6-18X50/dp/B000FLES8Y For a few bucks more, you can go 6-24x40 but with a slightly smaller objective (40 vs 50mm) http://www.amazon.com/Bushnell-Mil-Dot-Reticle-Riflescope-6-24x40/dp/B000GEWB52
  18. Or buy a cheapo float tube from eBay. Won't hurt the wallet that much and they aren't bad at all. Check out the monstrum tactical free float quad rails. Their FDE anodized ones are a good color match if you're looking to go FDE. I had stuck one of them on my old beater (which I later sold) and was really happy with the fitment.
  19. And armaite makes it better ?<lmao> P.s. Ed, try a Nikon. Buy it from cabelas or something and you can exchange it within 6 months with no fuss for something else better
  20. I was gonna use it in my backyard instead of pavers.... no matter now... wife already shot down the idea.
  21. Great job!!
  22. I anticipate the M14 market is the next 308 growth area, especially in the newer EBR/EMR configurations. Really need to get off my ass and start making them.
  23. ....you should leave it to the (ex) IT-professional (i.e. moi) do the tech support. <lmao> <laughs> I can also do it with an indian accent to make it seem more realistic.
