  1. No answer here, but will 6.5 Creedmoor fit into DPMS/SR25 pattern Pmags? Any feeding issues with 6.5 creedmoor?
  2. Looks like Han Solo's Blaster ;-)
  3. Got one on sale from Ares Armor for an AR15 build ($125). Looks good, smooth, but haven't finished the build yet.
  4. Stale bagel sling shot
  5. "Honey, I just saved us $2.000.00! This $4,000.00 dress was on sale for 50% off!" Yes, we all understand here.
  6. Bobro got back to me and wrote that there IS a 20 version of that mount! So, that looks like the ticket. They did mention that it's easier to order by phone, so I guess it's just not mentioned on the website.
  7. Thanks all
  8. unforgivin, I'd seen them and heard good things. Then, I came across an article somewhere that was comparing them to Bobro, and via the experiment conducted found that ADM occasionally had a shift when remounting, while Bobro consistently held zero. Usually I wouldn't care, but since this optic will find its home atop several rifles, the return to zero is pretty important to me.
  9. What say you Tom? I'm looking for a really good QD mount with some MOA cant that I can easily transfer between rifles and not worry about it returning to zero. The top of the 308AR is flat, and I'm thinking of putting a zero cant scope base on the 308 bolt action so the adjustment between rifles will be minimal. Any thoughts? Thanks, DRD
  10. Does this mount come with a 20 MOA version? http://www.bobroengineering.com/view/product/7/
  11. Wow - great data. What do "ES" and "SD" stand for? I'll look forward to the 175s, then of course, at longer ranges! This is one of the better side-by-side experiments I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

  13. When are the 16" and 20" going head to head again?
  14. Nice. Any idea if one would run into a similar problem with the G2S trigger using a SI-Defense or DPMS upper?
  15. Awesome - congrats on the improvements! So, can you now list the specs for what the rifle in currently made of?

  17. Are SI-Defense uppers the 'high' or 'low' version of DPMS?
  18. Any idea on pricing? Will it fit both AR10 & DPMS patterns? It's not yet up on the MI site.
  19. I guess you'll never really know unless the builds were exact and you cut the 20" down to 16" to compare side to side. Still looking forward to what you find. Cheers, DRD
  20. "The whole thing is I have to make this 16" barreled rifle shoot as well as the 20" . Might be impossible , because the barrels are different , but I believe this 16" should keep groups near as well as the 20 " @ 100 yards. " I thought both barrels were Kreiger Criterian HB, by Fulton Armory, just different lengths, no?
  21. What if after you have the same break on both barrels, you just swap the upper, using the same lower for testing? That would rule out some differences? Would the 16" upper cycle well with the full rifle buffer?
  22. Awesome testing! I can't wait to see if the 16" rebuild helps! Btw, why did you go rifle length on the 16"? Does it soften the recoil that much? No cycling problems with such little dwell time?
  23. Current Si-Defense .308 BCG pricing: $235 for Phosphate $285 for NiB http://si-defense.com/store/
  24. Bluzjamer, Lol! It'd probably knock you over too! I spoke with Miller Precision, real nice people. They have no intentions of making receivers available since only three companies make 300WMARs, they are all different, and all have a lot of other proprietary parts. So, unless DPMS makes a receiver like the GII, that accepts lots of AR15 parts, i doubt it will happen for quite a while. Its nice that military snipers are using more 300WM platforms on bolt/modular rifles....that may open the door for a semi 300WMAR to enter the game. Btw, love Blue Man Group...been to the show 3 times!
  25. Are these ar10 springs that are recommended with slashs heavy buffers like the sprinco ones? http://www.heavybuffers.com/springs.html
