No one makes an actual AR10, they are all clones. There was only a couple thousand real AR10’s made and most went to Belgium and Chile if I remember right. True Armilite bought the name, but it is just like the AR15. AR stands fo Armilite, but we all call them AR15’s don’t we. So the 308/7.62 version is an AR10 which was designed first anyway. Wolf

I have two DPMS’s. Both are what you would call Gen I’s. The first one I bought pre built. It is a 20 inch with free flout hand guard and A2 front sight and bird cage flash hider. The second one I built. It is a 16 inch carbine. I built it basically as a AR10A2 carbine with a flat top upper. I use my carbine more that my rifle. I can’t tell you how many rounds have been put through the rifle. But I have put 5-600 rounds though my carbine. I don’t do a lot of long range shooting. Most everything is 100yds or closer. It shoots better than I ever will. It has been blooded. I took two bucks last season with it. Both shots wear at 85yds. DPMS 20 inch rifle. DPMS AR10A2 Carbine Wolf

I have two Barskas SWAT 6-24x60’s. Seems like they don’t like the recoil from a DPMS AR10 in 308. One of them the windage won’t adjust, the knob just turns. The other one the cross hairs has rotated to the right. I thought the hole scope had shifted, but no the cross hairs rotated. I am looking for something in this power range that can handle the recoil from a 308 round. I sent a message via Barska’s web sit last night wanting to know about repair or replacement. They are both just a little over a year old. I have other Barska’s and UTG’s on other AR15’s in 5.56. They can handle that recoil. Wolf

I am looking for a scope that can handle the recoil of the DPMS LR-308 AR10A2 clone in 308/7.62x51mm. I am looking for something with a magnification from either 3or4x12or24x60 with illuminated cross hairs that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Wolf

I’ve gotten to where I don’t fly anymore. If I can’t drive where I am going I just don’t go period. I carry a 45 sig p220 hand gun with two spare 10 round mags in the car at all times, and sometimes I might even have my 45-AR15 carbine with 10 30 round mags with me to. it all depends on what I am doing. unforgiven, Thanks for the envite but no thanks, belong to to many clubs now. For one thing I don’t like to have to join a club in order to get one. And then have to prove that I am a citizen of this great country. Most of my family has been here for several hundred years and others have been here for over a thousand years or more. Native American Indian. All ready have five overweight paperweights; don’t need another or another type of ammunition to buy. I have a M1A1 and two FALS, one DPMS AR10 LR308 20 inch rifle and one DPMS AR10A2 Carbine. If I want to shot 3006 I’ll just drag out my 1903 Springfield. I can reload 308 to 06 spicks with the right powder. Wolf

I tried to edit my post but yall wouldn’t let me. Something about running out of time. So here is another post whit what I had to say. I still have a question? Are you still having a problem with military hard ball? If so there is something wrong. Is the tip of the bullet hitting the back of the chamber when you try to chamber a round? Are you running it wet or dry? You may just have to break that sucker in some. My DPMS 20” that I bought had some teething problems to. Everything settled down after about 60 rounds. The DPMS A2 Carbine never missed a skip. It eats anything I feed it. Wolf

This is my baby, a 1998 Honda Valkyrie 1500 C. I have close to 200.000 miles on her now. I’ve done a little work on it. Did a major tune job, took her from 105 stock hp to over 155 dynode hp. I like to play with the crotches. Wolf

Hear in La. when you turn 60 you get everything except your Duck stamp for $5 dollars. That covers small and large game, fresh and salt water, Doves, Turkey and Bow, Primitive, and Rifle for Deer and just about everything else you can think of. You would need to have gotten get your lifetime back when you started to need a hunting license to hunt or fish to make it worthwhile now. The life time just cost too much at the time. I just checked back the other day and everything was working. I don’t know. Yep! It’s a Valkyrie. 98 to be exact. I’ve been running her sense 2000. Done a little work on her building HP. Went from stock 105hp to 155hp at crank and between 125 and 130 at rear wheel. My kids are something else. I have eleven in the house. Got five new ones, three week old now, in the bed room. Wolf

I wanted something to replace my M1A and FAL with. What I really wanted was something in 3006. I don’t want to have to join some club to be able to buy a M1 Garand. So when I found out that DPMS was making AR types in 308 I jumped. Bought my first rifle (20”) from Buds and them built my second, a 16” carbine. My second one is my goto weapon. Wolf
