  1. haha I just watched that on reddit.
  2. Looks pretty slick. Now you just need a holster
  3. Actually all you need is a square, feeler gauge, and $20 reamer. But when in doubt ship it out.
  4. If you have a drill press you could do this yourself with out too much trouble.
  5. It looked a little thick. looks like a wedding band.
  6. That a nice looking rifle easy. Now send me that barrel so I can time your muzzle device! those shims drive me crazy
  7. That was one of the reasons I went with an atlas. I can kick the legs at a 45* and drop the rifle way down on the deck. 8" doesn't seem like a lot but it really is.
  8. That is a good deal !
  9. So how did you do that in the first place Shib? did you smack it with a dead blow hammer?
  10. Nice. Now the ar-15 guys are gonna be all over your ass, "is that a 308?" Congrats
  11. Good luck
  12. guy has a stand off with a cop
  13. do you know if its a dpms style or armalite? Where did you get it from?
  14. Welcome aboard, probably not dimpled but a nice barrel. Edit: also on sale 10% off until halloween night
  15. Seekins Precision style? not sure who made that one though
  16. I have all the geometry that is correctly drawn that I could send you, Would you be machining this yourself? Edit: tactical maching lowers are right on the money. Most errors are made in armalite/DPMS in regards to locating trigger pins. There is .059 difference between armalite and Dpms prints.
  17. $1400 is going to disappear real fast. Do you plan on mounting a scope as well with that budget? or is that a future purchase? If you really shop around and keep it simple you should be able to stay close to that budget, But if you are gonna try to pull it off within 1400 get the hell away from these guys ASAP! They will talk you into refinancing your house to get that trigger set or bi-pod you only dreamed of..... Seriously though you have stumbled across a wealth of knowledge here. Good luck with your first build.
  18. fixed that for you
  19. I have some 1911 files for you whats your email?
  20. Bacon bits !
  21. thats awesome
  22. Thats pretty wild, as well as very interesting. thank for taking the time to document that. You should try to make your own defensive rounds and see how they compare.
