Damn, Tool! Nice! Hell, looks like you're gonna be "minute-of-dime" at 100 yards by the time you're done. Beautiful rifle; nice shooting!

Don't think my survivors will be so verbose. Obit will likely read: "Oh, well...."

What? Goes from laying around to getting laid? Bolt winks at the bolt carrier, there is giggling in the parts drawer, and before you know it, there's another complete upper.......

http://www.cityofmaywood.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=124&Itemid=70 Might need to evaluate the police department; they ain't all equal. Apparently this one no longer exists, since 2010. Might tell you something. Wonder if they disbanded this one because the poorly trained "cops" didn't know the difference between auto and semi-auto? This guy doesn't appear to be anything I would describe as a police officer. Looks more like some kind of community activist/community organizer who made his mark by handing out other peoples' money to buy votes. Hey, it's an even-numbered year, so I could be wrong..... But I doubt it.

I do like a two-tone rifle, and I do like Nikon scopes. Nice looking rifle! Welcome from Washington

Sounds like you're going to have a shooter as well as a looker. Congrats. Hope you have a lot of great experiences with that Armalite!

Great man to quote on this day. HST saved tens of thousands of American soldiers' lives by torching Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Also served in artillery unit in WWI. Also responsible for weeding out a bunch of fraud in WWII military contracts. Kind of guy our soldiers need in the White House now.

Well said.

Every one of the treasonous bastards involved should be permanently in a Navy brig, and the people who profited locked up for life. Disgusting. And pull their damn pensions...every stinking dime.

my homemade .308 AR - only technical discussion please

And still no pics from freeminder....... why am I not surprised? Sounds like JT's BS call was right on the mark. -
Just over $700 for wife and I, and our monthly vocabularies are probably also similar. Plus I'm guessing Tourettes ain't covered under your plan......

We're with GHC which is in the process of merging with another large HMO. I'm a little edgy about that. We've had good care - kind of expensive, but good care, so we'll see how the new thing works out. So long as government dictates what I get, the cost will increase unreasonably. My government thinks I am incapable of running my own life. A pox on them!

So every month I get a written statement from my HMO regarding my prescription drug expense. Yes, I'm on medicare, but this is for everything. Details, and more details! Every month I get seven pages, typed both sides, with plan info, numbers, other info. Mailed to my house, first class postage. I don't want the information, don't need it, have asked by phone and in writing to make it go away. (My total Rx drug expense first five months of 2016 is well under $100. Medical premiums over $2,000. so far). Get this: The reporting information is required by the Affordable Care Act! My HMO cannot legally stop sending it, nor can they go paperless with the information! I'm fairly certain the stupid bastards who wrote the ACA will stop making the HMO send it at some point after I'm dead, but there is apparently no other way to stop it. WTF??? Insanity! Oh, and I can go online to the super HMO web site, and get all of my health info - tests, appointments, drug purchases, etc. So far, that's 70+ pages to tell me about less than $100 in drug purchases. I can't stand it!

Congrats to the winner. Looking forward to another shot next year, and more of the BS drawing banter here on the forum. What a gas! And a great cause!

I don't even want to think about which bathroom/locker room it will choose. Hell, even the trannies would toss this one out.......

my homemade .308 AR - only technical discussion please
slugger43 replied to freeminder's topic in Building a .308AR
Original post says all parts are self-made. Does that mean you created them based on these drawings? Still would like actual photos if that is true. Hell, I'd like a couple of shots of your shop. I assume "all" would include barrel, bolt, etc.etc. Pics, please, and a clarification. -
Beautiful. Man, if that hummer shoots anywhere near as good as it looks, it's gonna be nothin' but sweeeeet! Can't wait to see some targets from the completed project.

I don't either, and it is in fact a helluva good cause. However, I reserve the right to razz the asses off everybody else and then to act surprised and chagrined if I don't actually win. And in the off chance that I do, I will say I told you so....

Yeah, right. But if you guys really want to see that fine piece of American firearm-ery, you better hit Mapquest for directions to Washington....cuz I be thinkin' it's gonna be up here in the great Northwest. I'm not sure which one of my tickets is the winner, but I'll let you know.

Well, Cabela's had a sale, plus I had a coupon, and I could no longer stand the fact that I did not have a 9mm in the house. So, a new M&P Shield. Plus, it does kind of go with my full size .40S&W M&P. Now to get Paul at PJHolsters to whip me up another of his find Kydex ITW holsters....

Absolutely correct JT. But, it's worse than that. Statistical facts indicate the more the feds provide in loans, the faster the cost of college goes up. Tons of money spent to attract more students, more money, more influence...not to improve education. Would be interesting to see how much of this $$$ has been spent on student centers, climbing walls, and other "social goodies" versus classrooms and professors. And to see the increase on bullschitt classes so more dummies can get unnecessary college degrees. Student loans have become a huge taxpayer scam, and defaults are bad and will increase. Yeah, but I could be wrong.........

Simple, Wash. You have not been paying attention.... You go to the one with the "multi-infinitely-variable-gender-ness-we-don't-give-a-poop-about-your-plumbing" sign on the door, and I suspect you have to poop in the litter box and wipe with sandpaper. I read some academic a-hole said gender is not "either-or", it is a "continuum". As Charlie Brown is fond of saying, "I can't stand it!" Somebody needs a damn beating! I'm actually more concerned about the shower and locker rooms, which the justice department also intends to cover with their rules.
