  1. I'llbegood,i'llbegood,i'llbegood,I'llbegood!!! Pleeeeezzzz!
  2. Don't know where you were, or how old, but every one of us with a brother has a perfect mental image of that one! ROFLMAO!
  3. Gun counters make me nervous. Had a customer point a pistol at me - zero reaction from the sales person, until I pushed the guys hand - and gun - in the direction of the sales turd. Never ended up pointed at anyone else, but they both got (1) the point and (2) a little pissed. And Plane's right. I've seen the sales clowns point the laser at their own hand also. Two words - Stoo and Pid.
  4. Amen to that! It's gonna take three or four days of high-test eyedrops, and lots of rum before I can heal up enough to get out to the range and unwind.
  5. Well, say what you like, I'm just greatful to see she did the bikini wax. Coulda been worse. I still got a major eye-ache.
  6. Just goes to show the old folks can still get'er done! Excellent group of Garands!
  7. Super looking rifle. Glad to hear it runs as good as it looks. Do you have a total weight with scope? Also, how did you like that scope?
  8. Now dammit, that there is funny as hell.....Glad to see somebody hasn't forgotten the "Media-Be-Stupido" of San Bernardino. Full auto, and I heard one TV commentator bemoaning that those buttons made reloading much, much faster, "Almost as fast as a machine gun". Made me all horny to get one......
  9. Then there's the guy who puts hands on hips, or one, at least, with the other on the 1911 on his belt. Oops! That would be the guy with the gun with the girly stance? And more fun, saw a guy in church, every time he raised his hands he exposed the .38 revolver on his hip. Funny as hell! Nobody mentioned it to him, so far as I know.
  10. I think that B bolt stop is a pretty beefy one, and has been used in a fair number of builds as noted by various guys on the forum. Here's a thread on one modification: https://forum.308ar.com/search/?type=all&q=bolt+stop+surgery . I picked up one of the B LPK's a while back, just to get the quality spare parts. I think I picked up the A bolt stop at the same time, just because it was available. That one ended up in a friend's build......
  11. Okay, I almost peed at that one. And by the way, HAG is a funny word, all by itself. Nice lilt to it. Hillary Hag!
  12. Damn! R.I.P. Officer. Prayers for the wife and kids............
  13. Wherever he is, we will be paying for lifetime secret service protection. Personally I think he should open a new golf course in Kandahar. But that's just me......
  14. Hope your dad finds a super place to live with lots of shooting, hunting, etc. Also that he has room for an extra gun cabinet for your stuff, and that you can visit often.
  15. Agree with the sentiment, but ya gotta work. Really sorry for our military who might get moved to that commie-pinko-bed-wetting hole of a state. Just wish I could believe that more of our states won't go this route also. Interesting to actually read through some of those Cali-regs, and see just how stupid, pointless and non-productive they really are. Oh, and ineffective.
  16. No, no, the fun part is pointing the "device" in a random direction with my finger on the trigger-thingee and taking a selfie. This one is titled "SorryDumSchitt".
  17. 8-year old granddaughter at the range with grandpa? Absolutely wonderful! As a grandfather, that's my idea of "girls with guns". Congrats!
  18. OK, my family. Grampa M-1 insisted on being in the picture, next is Olympic PCR-1 .223, my 6.8 SPC, and my beloved .308 Ghost. Oh, that stuff at the bottom?? We're Pregnant!!!!
  19. That's exactly the right word....fun. Don't know what pricing might be, but I can think of about eleventy-zillion things you could build with these machines.
  20. So, would you say the current AR's are siblings, maybe M-14 is father, and M-1 Garand is Granddaddy? M1 Carbine maybe a second cousin or uncle? Yuk-yuk! Nice lookin' kids there, Mineralman!
  21. Maybe Nerf gun bullets? Wonder if there is a way to make an ear-plug-firing gun. Catch a guy at the range without hearing protection, and hell, just "fire 'em in there!" Wondering if it was an automatic nerf gun? Those would be more dangerous..... Better yet, belt-fed nerf gun shooting ear plugs. Ya gotta laugh.
  22. Does that last word stand for Stupid Me Dumb Hooker? Who is this idiot, and where did this appear? Yeah, my first reaction when I saw those "bullets" was: "Damn, we're screwed!"

No advice here. Just wanted to say I really admire your persistance. Been following this adventure from the start. This is epic. And, after all, this place is about building rifles, and you are doing exactly what we do here. Three cheers! Ole'! Hang in there!
  24. Those are really nice looking. One of my favorite Kydex guys is PJ Holsters LLC, http://pjholster.com/products Customer service is superb, as are the holsters. My son ordered the following for my Kel-Tec P-40. This was at the time a one-off. No mold available, as P-40's are uncommon. Came with a note from Paul to please advise how it worked out, and if it was not exactly as desired to let him know and he would fix it. This one is quick on and off, very easily concealed, very secure, usually worn STB and sometimes strong side.
  25. I miss being able to go to a "most recent" that includes all forums, topics, threads. Whether or not I've read them. I don't want unread only, as I might want to go back to refer to something I read recently, and being able to load all of the very recent stuff, then back out to somewhat older stuff works best for me. Seemed logical as hell to me. Usually, when it's something I think is logical, anyone who does programming thinks it's a bad idea. So maybe the suk suk changes are my fault? Sorry.
