  6. SENIOR SEX The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you." Yes, she says, "I remember it well." OK, he says, "How about taking a stroll around there again and we can do it for old time's sake?" "Oh Jim, you old devil, that sounds like a crazy, but good idea!" A police officer sitting in the next booth heard their conversation and, having a chuckle to himself, he thinks to himself, I've got to see these two old-timers having sex against a fence. I'll just keep an eye on them so there's no trouble. So he follows them. The elderly couple walks haltingly along, leaning on each other for support aided by walking sticks. Finally, they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence The old lady lifts her skirt and the old man drops his trousers. As she leans against the fence, the old man moves in.. Then suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the policeman has ever seen. This goes on for about ten minutes while both are making loud noises and moaning and screaming. Finally, they both collapse, panting on the ground. The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life and old age that he didn't know. After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman, is still watching and thinks to himself, this is truly amazing, I've got to ask them what their secret is. So, as the couple passes, he says to them, "Excuse me, but that was something else. You must've had a fantastic sex life together. Is there some sort of secret to this?" Shaking, the old man is barely able to reply,"Fifty years ago that wasn't an electric fence."

    1903A3

Does your 03A3 have a 2 groove rifling barrel or a 4 groove ? I have seen one original 03A3 with a 2 groove barrel, don't remember if it is a Remington . I have what I found to be a 1943 build a Remington 03A3 that I "sporterized" as a gunsmith,/ armorers school project in around 1961 it has a milled trigger guard also, and I rebarreled it with a Santa Fe Arms barrel I bought for $12.00 . I remember the receiver was as hard as a wedding prick and I had to buy a carbide bit and tap to mount the Weaver scope. I also got a Fagan Walnut stock blank Glass bedded it with a floating barrel ( after 4 inches from the receiver) I originally left a barrel stock contact bump out at the front end of the stock, but sanded it off after it's first long range trial, I got a better hot barrel grouping after removing the bump and it now has a bent bolt handle and a Timney trigger with a custom safety. It is Pretty much of a tack driver out to 500 yards and my go to .3006 since I gave my Garand M1 to my son.
  8. i was taught to use "The Hasty Sling" with the M1 and web sling in Marine Corps ITR back in 1960
  9. Yep, I don't have a lot to do today
  10. Okay where is the LIKE Button
  11. I had a .243 Win. in a Remington 700 ADL, It was fun to shoot and reload for. sold it in 1981.
  12. What Caliber 98Z ?
  13. I had I had a similar experience with the Remington 788 In the late 1970s and early 80s I had a couple of custom Winchester , Mauser, and Remington bolt guns in .243, 3006 .and .35 Whelan when I had a Gunsmith shop as a second job. I had a friend that wanted something more powerful than his 94 Winchester for deer. I had read about the Remington 788 and ordered a new one in .308 for a song. I took it to the range after mounting a Weaver 4 power scope I got in a trade. It shot one of the best groups I had ever shot at 200 yards. I attributed it to the fastest trigger I have ever seen on a bolt gun. I traded it for my friends pre 64 94 Winchester and cash.
  14. I've survived owning two single engine airplanes both in the 1980s added King electronics to both myself and made good profits on both after logging only 200 hours on each of them over a three year period after my employer forbid me to fly private aviation.
  15. Amen. . . .
  16. With the price the Japanese and Chinese are paying for old worn out Jeans and Levis it could be better to just buy a dozen or two cheap gun sleeves or cases. I have made it a point to have cases for all my long guns. I have an old friend that made fringed leather cases for several of us for our muzzleloader. I think of him every time I open my gun safe. And it was 45 years ago when he made it for me. It has my initials woven in it in leather lacing.

    This bass thing.

Lately I have regressed to fishing for the Buglemouth Bass. Made bait out of Big Red soda and oatmeal, DIdn't have any cornmeal. The local feral cat population liked the free meal.
  18. I have about 400 or 500 drill bits from a previous endeavor, I use the drill bits to measure holes also knowing the width of rifling groves you can use a mirrored borescope image to establish the ratio of the port diameter to the adjacent rifle grove . if you don't want or can't pull the gas cylinder or block. There are always more ways to skin a cat, than standing up in a hammock with the cat tied to a telephone pole.
