Ok, help me understand this...how can a smaller firing pin reduce pierced primers? My thought process would lead me to believe the opposite to be true since a larger firing pin would have a greater surface area and thereby distribute the pressure of the impact over that greater surface area.
Whereas a smaller firing pin should have an increased incident of pierced primers since the impact force is more focused and not distributed.
I just don't get it. Help me to understand please.
Knights makes GREAT battle rifles which can sometimes in the right hands be good and accurate at distance but if they were looking for true sniper rifles they went the wrong route IMO.
Don't get me wrong I have full faith & confidence in the platform and even own a SR-15...I know these are SR-25s...but given the average distance of a SWAT sniper engagement 1.5 - 2 moa should be a non issue.
The website says the sale is for mixed headstamps. Mine were all the same and were marked with: .308 Pierce on the headstamp. I'm curious to know what headstamps you received for those of you that purchased them.
I could never live there! Some of their laws are batsheeit crazy! Aside from the fact that almost all of the magazines I own would be illegal unless they were grandfathered.
Oh you're gonna like that brother! Smooth shooting right there! My bother called to ask my advice on his next purchase. Told him the KAC and started to bust my balls about the price. Told him to shaddup and trust me. He's glad he did!
I can't wait until this summer to go home and visit the family. Already told them I want to do some walleye fishing, kayaking, bon fires, and there's a freezer full of venison ready for the grill!
Thanks... I have a pretty hard and fast rule in which I never skimp on gear but I don't like pissing money away either. Well, unless that happens after a good night out at the bar.
I need to get ahold of the boys over at Trijicon myself!
I was advised to take mine to the county courthouse so they could file a certified copy and also provide me with certified copies. I did that and paid the county clerk for an additional 5 certified copies just to have on hand if I ever needed them.
