  7. JT, I see that SLR with the dual holes. One a vent and the other for the adjustment screw, nice stuff indeed. I forget the name of the component, running around too much today, my mind is getting fuzzy, the pressure relief thingy. I want to buy that one but don't want to be too foolish and spend 89$ if I need to drill more holes. Would one set screw set into the divot and one set screw merely tightened a bit do it, or must I drill a second divot?
  8. I prayed for these officers. Most folks have a built in no kill zone. It's a horrible act. It is plain as day these men didn't want to hurt this guy. I heard "please" and "we can help you" in a sincere and honest way. Ultimately the man had to be taken down. It was clear he wasn't having anything short of death on his mind. I pray these men are comforted at this time. Yeah I have friends involved with legitimate shoots and they carry a heavy mental load. I think these men, and combat vets, ought to be retired and paid forever if they wish it. God bless them.
  9. Alright here's a legit question. I have a Criterion barrel, 22" 6.5 Creedmoor Hybrid. I want an adjustable gas block. I'm in search for a gas block right? OK My barrel has one divot on the bottom. Most GBs I see have two set screws. What do you do? I called Criterion early this morning and left a message. I called later this afternoon and left another message. To be fair they may have just closed. 5:05 eastern time, shrug. Left an email message a few minutes ago. We''ll see. I have found many interesting gas blocks but am stumped over that one divot, two set screw theme. I could probably figure something out if they were in front of me, but alas they are not. The price spread on these things are wild. I see from $25 to over a hundred. I have enough parts laying around and would like to buy the right part one time. .875
  10. Clint did contact me and a deal was completed. Nice enough e-mail, I'm sure the guy is infested with ball breakers and IT folks who went so high up the smart ladder and they fell right back into stupid.

  16. Unique-ars.com had a really close match, if not the exact match.
  17. ^^^ absolutely the right way to go. I bought a few springs and gas tubes that way.
  18. It was a terrific addition hearing the children in the background. A friend owns a LGS nearby, and since school is out his son is a fixture in the store. It is always a nice touch seeing youngsters in our surroundings, learning early that firearms are just another aspect of living. Firearms are not mystical devices, they are tools fitting a particular need.
  19. That is one tough job. Less lethal force??? They showed patience and control beyond anything I could have mustered.

  23. To be clear, I have once fired brass, perhaps 50-100 new pieces, at or about a 900 round count. I was wondering if I could resize it to a more suitable caliber for myself. I have no objection to selling it. Just more stuff I have laying around taking up space.
