  1. War dog industry has skeletonized receivers that would save on weight and are cheaper than what I have seen from F1 firearms and others. Not sure if it would be something you are interested in or not.
  2. Lies, that can’t happen, that was a gun free zone. How is it possible to even carry a gun in a gun free zone?! stupid Libs thinking more regulations will help
  3. Adams arms makes one for a dpms gen 2 variety. But it is $600, you can only use their rails, and god only knows how well it will perform/last. There is probably a reason you don’t find a lot of 308ars with pistons and can only find one company making kits. Remember there is a lot more pressure running through these than ar15s. And you are probably not firing as many rounds as you would with an ar15 so the amount of carbon shouldn’t be that bad. Besides you would be surprised at the amount of carbon these guns can handle and still run. I get it would be easier to clean, but that’s why I like my nickel boron bcgs this is where @98Z5V comes in and says, “don’t complicate sh1t with complicated sh1t.” It’s your rifle, so if you are set on a piston system, go for it. Just will create extra cost and might create extra problems. Either way, good luck and we will be here to help.
  4. A hole is a hole. Lol
  5. 🐈
  6. Lol. I am as blonde and blue eyed as they come.
  7. Was supposed to say pvssy. Lol
  8. I love eating female cat!
  9. Also very odd a gun part manufacturer went under during 2020, the only ever better time for the gun industry was 1776.
  10. @98Z5V I get it now and I don’t blame the gun companies... supply and demand. And yes I wouldn’t call it price gouging. I would just be happy to find things at msrp
  11. Thanks brother. I have been keeping an eye one armorally but I forgot about schuyler arms. I have noticed armorally doesn’t have as good of deals as it used to. Might be taking advantage of the shortage and making an extra buck in things. Oh well, if they get them in stock, I will be happy.
  12. One of the reasons I plan on building a 6 ARC is for my wife to use deer hunting while I use my .260 rem. And maybe be my kids’ first hunting rifle.
  13. Matt doesn’t need it. I have to get ready to fight the two largest counties in my state in a civil war. Lol. I have been waiting for them to come into stock on any website. Got like 8 set to notify me if they come in stock.
  14. Being that it comes from hornady, 6mm ARC will end up having ammunition from all major companies as long as we can get our ammunition production up. The way they promote their products, I would bet my tiny bank account that it will be as successful and widespread as the grendel is now. I have already decided this is the next rifle I am going to build. Someone let me know if you see any aero precision m4e1 matching receivers in stock or a builders kit. I am thinking about going with a 16 inch barrel though.
  15. Good thing there is already enough guns in America to fight if we need to
  16. That’s so stupid because anyone could buy 80% lowers and all the other parts to make the firearms from brownells or any other online company and still get it all sent to their house. al the kits do is make it easier so someone without the experience gets everything they need without having to track it all down. I am so tired of the ATF and their bureaucratic bullsh1t. They have no accountability and make up whatever rules they want without having to actually pass a law through legislation. They are just a hand for political overreach.
  17. But they didn’t touch the regular 80% that were by themselves and not in a kit?
  18. The first thing you have to think about when buying parts for 308ars is they arent standardized like ar15s. So where when building an ar15 it is a lot easier to mix and match parts from different brands, this can be problematic with 308ars. We like to tell people new to the platform to try and have upper receiver and lower receivers from the same company so you can get them to align correctly. Many people have successfully matched receivers from different brands, but it isn’t a given that they will match. Other parts you should be ok with mix and matching with occasionally some minor modifications. first time I had to use a dremel tool on a $60 part, I was nervous was hell and still get nervously. But the small modification made the part work perfectly when it wouldn’t have before and I didn’t waste $60. Just have to make sure you have the right parts to make the rifle function, which you can always make sure you have the correct help with here. While 308ars are a little more finicky than their smaller counterparts, they don’t have to be difficult to build and littered with issues, if you do research and ask questions when you can’t find the answers yourself in past posts.
  19. So what’s wrong with the kits according to the ATF? Tried reading the article but been working some third shifts and it got too wordy for my lack of sleep to comprehend
  20. Same thing in my state
  21. If that’s the case, I am leaving Wisconsin because it doesn’t stand a chance siding with the Democrats in a civil war. Lol
  22. Oh God, I hope nobody necro’s the canned chicken post
  23. That’s why I encourage the average person to legally conceal carry if they have one. I want patriots to have my back if I am in need. No point taking the class and carrying the card but not the gun.
