I myself can get frustrated searching. But everyone needs to at least try to search because every time the same topic comes up with a new thread on the same thing, then the searching becomes more difficult. All people have to do is try and put some effort into it themselves and if they can't find it then you ASK for help. I'm one of the newer people that has stuck around and I can guarantee you, that you will not find a more selfless group of gun lovers that will bring you into a brotherhood you don't find on most forums. All you have to do is show some initiative. And yes you may hear people acting like assholes to each other, but generally it is between friends that have known each other for a long time and take poop just like they give it. This is a group of hard nosed patriots that will fight for those like them but don't have time for disrespectful people or those that want to have a pity party in a cry closet. You aren't going to find a better group of MEN that actually give a poop. So I'm saying from experience and respect when I say, new members need to sit back and ease themselves into a group of friends that have shot together, built together, and lived together as brothers from around the country and sometimes farther.

Gone for a few days to see family and I have some catching up to do. ignoring the fact that this shooting is not like school shootings recently in the news... thanks for pointing that out. but back to talking about school mass school shootings in general. I have to disagree and agree with wash on some points. 1. video games are not the problem. video games all day long however I agree is not healthy for the mind. a kid that plays once in a while knows the difference between right and wrong, and reality and make believe. 2. feelings are not the problem. but not learning how to successfully deal with anger and sadness, and work through it. 3. pills are not the problem. but giving kids (and adults) pills for every little thing, including things that can be dealt with in other types of medicines is the problem. we need to stop drugging up our country to make problems go away, instead look to natural ways or other types of therapy. sometimes a bit of fresh air or even work, will help many problems tremendously. 4. public schools are not the problem. I am not a huge fan of public schools. I have had issues in the past with what certain teachers have taught or how discipline has been given. but public schools allow kids to develop socialization skills. And though I love the morals a lot of private schools have, those schools can be out of reach for many families, either financially or just in the area they live. Schools need to be more regulated in their teaching, less opinion and more truth. more discipline and efficient in the way it is given. and none of this no kid left behind crap. kids need to show knowledge to advance, not just complete busy work that often times teachers don't grade or the students can get the answers for without actually learning and knowing the knowledge. 5. headline super stars, I agree that these people shouldn't be headline super stars. but I think this stuff needs to be in the media. but I think we need to spin it in a positive way so that any who think of doing it in the future will see that you may attack the children of America, but we will stand tall, stand together, see the good in the bad, and show that you can attack America but it will only become stronger. These TERRORISTS need to be destroyed in the media as cowards, weaklings, that we do not fear, and that will not change how we live our lives. They need to not be given deals, they need to be given the worst punishment the offense allows. 6. I agree that if guns owned by someone else who did not lock them up or report them as stolen are used, then they should face charges as well. Especially the parents of those that commit the crime because obviously they have failed to either see the problem with their child or do something about it. I miss any points?

I doubt they will be grieving, I have enough life insurance to keep them happy for a long time. lol

um yeah... pointless. not like any of us need any help being talked into guns. we are already hopelessly addicted to anything and everything that goes bang. we just use each other to lay blame on instead of ourselves. lol.

thank God. I don't think I could ever just chose one. I'm a polygamist when it comes to guns. now the next issue. I would have to bring my wife and kids. who's gonna watch the kids? lol. and whomever watches the wife, I'm not responsible for any damages to feelings or noses, and you can't give her back pissed off. You guys are all great offering so much. I might have to come with very little since my little cobalt would probably be what we drive out there... unless all the Wisconsin guys are able to go and we pitch in on a party bus!

heck I wish I had a 3gun range on my property and the ammo to run through it several times a day. I hardly ever get the chance to shoot anymore between the kids and working so much. this week I will be putting in 82 hours, not including if I get an arrest or something else that keeps me out late. and yet still I can't afford what I would like most of the time.

Yeah definitely. Yesterday I did my yearly training. it used to be a week of staying at the academy, now it is 8 hours of training this year they said and I don't think it was even that long. I shot right around 50 rounds of handgun and that's it. Later we will do quarterly training, but again we won't get poop for rounds. so on average my agency provides 100-200 rounds a year to practice with. Can't expect me to be good with this piece of junk glock that I hate when that's all you shoot. And I got issued my hard plates and ballistic helmet finally. Helmet is great, they did a good job there. the plates on the other hand, though they are nice and light (3 pounds for a 10x12 shooters cut), they are 1 inch thick! and it is only lvl III not lvl IV which it should be with all the .30-06 hunting rifles running around this state. Problem is those in charge of the money have no tactical background at all and don't listen to those with tactical experience. They would rather buy a new printer for the office than spend money on decent equipment or training that could save our lives.

Will do if I can. but I might not even bring any guns, I've seen so many of everybody's here that I would love to shoot. lol.

I'm still unsure if I will be able to make it. fall for my agency is when people scramble for vacation the most because of all the hunting, and I'm on the bottom of seniority. so basically I just have to luck out and hope my days off fall just right.
