    Prays are with you. I went through this last year with my mother. Going through the Hospis time was the real hell. This doesn't much help, but it will get better with time. Just remembering the better times is best.

    When the teams management doesn't do anything about these shitbirds that won't stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, and still wants the game to go on so they get more money, I have nothing to do with them anymore. I guess I'm old in age and my beliefs .. when I and the others I served with risked and some gave their lives for this country so they have their freedom to get rich playing games ... enough is enough. Same with the Hollywood bunch .. no more support from me with my money.

    I have been a 30-06 fan since a kid and broke my teeth on a bolt action as my first full size rifle. I've seen these advertised and drool every time I seen it. But I'd prefer they install a dust cover over that bolt opening and find a way to drop the cost of the magazines ... but what the heck.

    I still believe everyone would load their pants when looking down the barrel with someone pissed at you holding the grips. But everything is due over time ... to change. I carried the M60 when humping the fields in Nam and compared to the M16, I didn't minded the extra weight of the weapon or ammo. But eventually we have the present day SAW. And in time their new choice of the SIG and the SAW will bow to something else. Weight, capacity and personal demands will bring this on. But there will be always be the 1911 somewhere doing it's thing .. protecting it's owner.
