The lanolin and alcohol works ok. Seemed about the same level of effort. A little messier than the one shot but not bad. I cleaned the cases with my ultrasonic and hot water with some dawn and they were fine. Didn’t want to tumble as I read it could gum up the pins prob not but played it safe. I think I’ll run with this stuff for now - not as expensive as one shot

Not sure if the commercial isn’t petro or silicon based. Inter webs says the Dillon lube is just lanolin and achohol. I mixed some up 10:1 to try and was curious to see if anyone else had used it. Ultimate reloader used some and gave it good reviews. That guy is the tits when it comes to reloading. I’ll give it a whirl today and post my results.

Been using Hornady one shot but just ran out. I’ve been thinking of trying the lanolin alcohol home brew. Any one else using it? I’m concerned about it gumming up my steel pins in my tumbler.

Damn wasps! I have a wasp nest up in the cowling of my tractor somewhere. Every time I fire it up they come boiling out of there. Wouldn’t be bad cept I’m allergic to the bastards and don’t want to make a trip to the er. Tried to get my wife to take a close look but she got stung and now won’t go near it. don’t want to hose the innerds down with spray but lookin like that’s my only option for now. Huh maybe a sign it’s new tractor time.

Well she runs pretty well. 1060ish FPS using 10.8 grains 700x pushing that 325 grain maker bullet. Definitely hearing safe with the suppressor. Cycles like it should and locks bolt back on last round. Will see how accurate it is today at home defense distance. All the shooting yesterday was without a front sight and handguard. No chrono today

I figured there or in general would fit and since 7/4 is prolly the biggest grill day of the year I went that route. I gotta tell ya I was excited to be the first. Finally started prepping my brass sized, trimmed, flash hole debured. Tumbling now to clean and remove case lube. While brass dries I’ll get my suppressor and handguard off so I can hang the magnetospeed off the end. If all goes as planned will make sure the loads are subsonic the reassemble the gun and see if it runs. At almost 2 bucks a pop I want to do this in as few rounds as possible.

Thanks I could have got in lazy and researched it. I have been a surefire and streamlight snob the last few lights. I really want a cloud defensive owl. I may give an olight a shot I have read many posts from you guys on them.
