I have a 243 ai bolt gun and a 250 rem ar 260 def heavier projectiles 123 - 147 range my 243 max about 100 grains. I’m still developing the load for the 260 first time for me with an ar. I’m finding reading pressure signs more difficult cause it’s all in reading brass and felt recoil. With a bolt gun you have the added indicator of bolt lift. Not really any harder just different and I’m a little cautious in the ar platform. i can’t speak on the 6.5 creed not but I researched before build and can tell you ballistically almost identical with slight edge to 260. The creed should be able to handle longer projectiles due to the shorter case. Both are limited in mag length so maybe slight advantage creed. If you reload 260 if buy off the shelf stuff creed has more choices out there. I reload and I don’t normally like to jump on the latest greatest band wagon. Plus I’ve always been a 243 fan so the 260 is bigger brother. @98Z5V Has developed a load for his 260 that seems to be a screamer and he has done a bunch of at load work up so he can wring all the potential out of it. Me not so much but I’m learning. I had a pretty good load for my 243ai in the mountains of Montana but it seems to not like climate in Alabama so I need to revisit development for it(next on my to do list).

My Peterson 260 rem brass showed up today. Stuff looks pretty nice. Read good things about it.

Yup I agree it could be done. I’m not a machinist by any stretch of the imagination but even if measuring the chamber dimensions probably not going that far out. What parts of a rifle would be measured that precise?

So is the price. I looked at them but wasn’t convinced I’d gain anything except a higher budget in the 260. Granted I didn’t have any load numbers to look at either. Have you tried the A-tip in either the grendel or 260?

I hear what your saying. I tried to order a new trigger housing for 3rd gen Glock 9mm fukkin 9 dollar part cant find em in stock anywhere. Fukkin 9 dollar piece of plastic and you can’t find it anywhere. How much time left on that larue upper? I went through the same agonizing wait on my barrel from them. Almost as bad as waiting for a stamp - no it’s worse cause you know going in the govt is gonna suck.

Supposedly get more reloads and I read more consistent ignition - never tried them figured I’d give it a whirl. Prob a bunch of bs but as long as they’ll work I’m game for a change.

100 260 rem small primer Peterson brass not quite as spendy as lapua but close.

Read a couple articles on the shooting. Someone running for da has stirred up shiit post Floyd death and she has had a couple lawsuits filed by the family. Read in one of them that she’s back on duty. Apparently her daddy is hi up in the police union and been involved in several shootings himself. Not that has anything to do with her shooting. Just relaying some stuff I read.

So chambered in 7.62 but capable of withstanding 308 pressure. I think shooterex nailed it with the probs of steel cases which would be amplified if over gassed and the bolt was trying to unlock and extract early. I agree with the bad info out there. I would also tend to believe if someone here put out bum dope they’d get called on fairly quickly. Glad she’s running now.

Mine too I’ve fukked up 1 trigger housing trying to duplicate his work. it’s actually still good after I removed the pin but didn’t have space to try again.

When did that go down? Looked like April maybe couldn’t see the date very well. Any investigation info? Any charges? I think it was a good shoot but in today’s arena who knows.

Lookin good! That might be getting hard to carry appendix though. Mine is pushing it appendix carry with the light and rmr but it works. Do you do any trigger work to your glocks? I’ve polished, installed an over travel stop, and pinned it to remove some of the take up in my carry gun. It’s better but still a Glock trigger.
