  1. Also good to know, I came really close to picking one of those up last summer. Only thing that held me back at the time was that I didn’t like how the main portion of the Sylvan didn’t butt up against the receiver like the Law unit does.
  2. Thanks for that info @sketch!

  9. That’s sexy, I want a variant of a hi power in 10mm.
  10. It wasn’t so much the added weight that caused me concern as it was the possibility of the extension falling out while folded and me not noticing it was missing when needing using the gun.
  11. Thanks, it’d likely only be for this pistol lower to go with the 300blk and 5.56 uppers. Nice! So there’s finally a perk to shooting left hand 🤣.
  12. I like the way you think! So what’s the consensus here on the Law Tactical folding adapter?I’ve thought about it for this pistol lower, but I don’t get warm fuzzy feelings about the spacer that slips into the rear of the BCG. Definitely a chunk of change for something that I haven’t been able to check out in person around here.
  13. Hell yes! I’m glad someone finally introduced a bill like this. If this one comes to pass I hope I starts the snowball effect towards abolishing the whole gawddamn nfa.
  14. 🤔 Thanks! That was a big reason I went with the buffer tube cover kit and stock saddle from Thordsen Customs, I built this originally in between the BATFELGBTQ’s first or second attempt at doing away with the Sig braces. I like that when using it improperly it feels pretty damn close to a SOPMOD or ACS stock.
  15. Decided to flip some parts around on a couple rigs, switched the forend out on my 300blk pistol for the oem Bushmaster forend from my Predator. Picked up a KAK slim flash can for it to extend out the 12” FF tube.
  16. Ordered a KAK slim line flash can for my 300blk. I moved a free float tube to it that’s longer than the barrel so this oughta get just past the end of the tube. https://www.primaryarms.com/kak-industry-slimline-flash-can-5-8x24

  18. I bet that .358 Win could kick the donkey snot out of you LoL! That one really perks my interest cause the round would qualify for “primitive” deer season here if it’s chambered in a single shot rifle. I’ve had a hankering for a tandem of a semi and a single shot in the same round for all aspects of deer season here. Primitive season used to be our muzzleloader deer season then in the mid 2000’s they changed our regs to include single shot hammer fired rifles that shot cartridges .45cal and larger, I picked up a 45/70 handirifle then two years later they changed the regs again to .35cal and larger so everyone jumped to .35 Whelen. Since I built my Aero 308 I’ve wanted something in a big bore upper for the large frame gun. The .338 Fed has been an interesting round since it came out, but I don’t know anyone that has/hunts with one around here to get feedback from or try shooting one. In my mind I’d think it’d be more popular here since it has the same kE numbers as 7mmRM and that one is probably in the top 5 deer cartridges in Louisiana for decades. Thanks for the info!
  19. Out of those two which is your favorite? I’ve shot a 358win from a bolt action and was immediately a fan of the round. I had seen their BCG option when I was looking up info on what it would take to build an upper in .458x2” American(basically a 450 Marlin using any belted magnum cases instead of the wider belted cases Marlin/Hornady designed since I own a 7mmRM). It can be loaded to the same levels as 450 Marlin and the magnum level Buffalo Bore 45/70 loads. This one will eventually happen when I’ve got the time to handload again and money to put it together.
  20. I picked up two of their lowers with the milled trigger guards for $25 each in 2017 cause I couldn’t pass up that price. Had no clue what I’d do with them, we’ve had two kids since then so those will be their’s when they get old enough to build them with me.
  21. With how well Aero does most everything else I’m shocked they haven’t corrected that recoil system issue with how long he M5 has been on the market.
  22. Welcome from south Louisiana!
  23. His comments kinda fit with him wearing his girlfriend’s skinny jeans 🤣😂🤣 Like so many here have said repeatedly the only thing Aero hasn’t gotten right is the carbine buffer system. I wonder if the firing pin breakage is a result from the ass to gas ratio being off.
