We have noticed too they make no effort to look like they actually want to get hired. Im particularly fond of the tongue piercings that make them sound like they are talking with a dick in their mouths. Im mean jeez cant you clean up for an interview. Im not sure why but we seem to get less and less American born Caucasians kids looking for a job.

A while ago the little woman bought me a Shimano Core 50MG7 baitcasting reel. I bought a G.Loomis CR 722 to mate up with it. I am absolutely loving this combination as it's capable of casting line and lures not normally associated with baitcasters. The drag, brake and ergonomics are perfect. Friday I might try it on some trout and river smallies. An Amazon reviewer sums it up well Most reviews state that only the Daiwa Steez is slightly superior (and more expensive).

If these are going to a gunsmith a customer might be less versed in the good stuff such as triggers. A lot of folks will cheap out. I agree with Tom on the NM triggers though. I think castle nuts and sling adapters would be useful. I think if the intention of these kits is for the small gunsmith the kits should be heavy on whats frequently lost, broken or damaged. Detent springs and pins,gas block roll pins, extractor springs etc. I like the idea of a socket head cap screw for pistol grips. For general conversation about parts storage I use the Durham stuff. There's all sorts of variation and sizes plus they have handles. Some sizes fit in cabinets where the boxes will come out like trays. I do this at home and the office. It's not crazy expensive and it should last a life time. Just need to make sure you match the size of the cabinets and drawers.

Thats my thing too. My Colt has seen many hot and humid CT summers and cold snowy Vermont winters since 1992 and with normal care the phosphate has shown no signs of anything other than wear. Now I can see where folks in special situations might need to worry about corrosion but the average joe maybe not so much. But to each his own
