  1. I left them a CMMG BCG as a replacement... That's an even exchange, right?
  2. Damnit. I need to update my SHOT thread. The MVP Scout is awesome... The new Ruger GSR with synthetic stock is dead sexy! Ruger had more than one surprise this year.
  3. That's some BS
  4. I think you got a bunk 552. Remember that 512 you found for me on LightFighter? It ran on the same Li AA batteries for 2 years... My brother in law stole it from me, replaced the batteries with the same, and it's still running the same... That's been about 5 years, and it's maybe on the 3rd or 4th set of batteries. I agree though.... The XPS and EXPS are phenominal systems.
  5. The 512 is one of the best models they make.
  6. +1 A 000 steel wool rub down should suffice... or a longer handguard.
  7. I grew up near a "Beeffalo" ranch (a cattle/buffalo mule). It wasn't a bad alternative.
  8. Zeb has been here long enough to know better.... The Rule has been invoked.
  9. Novekse barrel is an AR10 barrel.... The Rainier (or CMMG) barrel can be bought for a LR308 compatible build
  10. Have you seen this yet... I'm not saying the AXTS is a bad choice... but for half the price, the TacOps-1 is AWESOME.
  11. Rainier Arms has a much better barrel, and it's "readily available"... Rainier Arms "Ultra Match" 12.5" DPMS Barrel http://www.rainierarms.com/rainier-arms-ultramatchtm-308-barrel-12-7 And they'll head space your bolt for you.
  12. We designed it for "Sexual Chocolate" but I guess you can pick whatever rifle you like. You can thank Jacob too. He was in on it from the beginning.
  13. I talked to a bunch of manufacturers, and the consensus was that if they weren't already making keymod, they were only going to do Mlok. I don't think the keymod companies will stop making keymod, but they all say mlok is easier to do.
  14. Get Shibi to become a distributor. Wholesale is only $60ish... I got to play with it. The directions on making rim fire primer is so simple it's stupid.
  15. I'm not done yet. I have a metric shiit ton of folders and brochures. Just wait till I post about the new red dot I found....
  16. You all have to check these guys out... http://22lrreloader.com/ It's a kit that let's you reload .22lr brass..... WTF!!??
  17. You know I couldn't resist.... because fcuk them, that's why!
  18. My new favorite here.... Elcan's brand new 1/3/9x scope. Same reticle as before. The wheel on the left side easily flips from 1x to 3x to 9x. No in between. Sweeeeeeeet....
  19. Let's look closer at that SWORD .338LM Billet, full ambidextrous controls... including bolt hold and bolt release. (Look at the front of the trigger guard) That is the folding side charging handle. It is VERY robust. The magazine is also billet aluminum. Of course it's all Mlok compatible, as keymod slowly fades away.
  20. The new OSS Gen5 suppressors are GAME CHANGERS. No suppressor should ever be made with baffles again. Here's the small one. Good for .22 to .30 cal, with a small adapter Here's a closer look at the BIG boy. Made for .338LM, but it can handle upto a .50BMG. All OSS cans will have this new front end.
  21. Celebrity list: •Craig "Sawman" Sawyer •Chris Costa •James Yeager •R. Lee Ermey •Jim West (Wild West Guns) •two guys from that "Sons of Guns" show I could care less about •Dakota Meyer •Matt Best and his crew •Rudy Reyes I'm sure there's more that I forgot.
  22. Farkle is right about the SSE law. They didn't think it through when writing the law... go figure. An AR pistol can still be bought as a SSE as long as it is originally built as a "Straight-bolt action". The gun cannot be a semi automatic, temporarily converted/modified to a single shot. Companies will have to start making CA specific pistols, and log them in the paperwork as bolt actions.... This can be as simple as turning the gas block sideways and not including a gas tube.... even a safer bet would be no gas port on the barrel, but that'd put a lot more work on the buyers end. It's so new that I don't know if anyone is going to go through the pain.
  23. California gun laws are crazy. CALGuns has the most up to date info on that.
