  1. Also a NOR☆CAL native.
  2. I think I saw Rudy Reyes here too....? Edit: definitely him.
  3. I'm at an after party right now... I just recognized Chris from Red Jacket... wtf am I doing here?
  4. Ps. Everyone around the LWRCi area agreed. They just killed Sigs little sub gun.
  5. I'm not here on a media pass, so I'm not supposed to take a bunch of pictures... I save the pictures I do take for the shiit I know certain people will love... Like Edgecrusher.... LWRCi's new .45ACP sub-gun. It uses an M4 trigger and selector, as well as AR furniture. This little bastard is built like a tank. The rep advised that it is still in prototype form, but for now it uses HK UMP 25rd magazines. Very impressive. Oh Ronnnnnn.... I didn't forget about you. I got to fondle the .308, the .300 win mag and the .338LM... With the integrated suppressors...
  6. Not bad for free! There are Special Forces units from all over the world here to see the .338LM. This this is awesome.
  7. Yes. The .308 and the .338 are both left side (non reciprocating) charging handles. Currently the 5.56 model uses a standard charging handle.... that may change in the future.
  8. So, I'm not gonna lie. Today I spent most of the day with SWORD International. These are some of the coolest guys in the fuckin world. Here's their .338LM (12.2 lbs naked) with its OSS supppressor and a USO 5-25x glass Here's their .308AR (9 lbs naked) Both rifles are completely built in shop EXCEPT for the Lothar Walther barrels. The .338LM has a billet aluminum 10rd mag! These rifles are a completely new piston design. All self adjusting and flawless. The rifles are an obvious evolution of nearly ever high end rifle on the market. The features they have and the parts they use.... WOW! Every inch of these guns were combat veteran designed and tested. The .308 currently is just under 20k rounds of test fire... using Black Hills ammo... With only FOUR failures... Two were attributed to bad primers, one to a bad magazine spring and the last one was an actual rifle malfunction.... 1 in 20,000 ain't bad! The OSS Mission suppressor is the sickest fucking design I've ever seen..... Ron! You need this and I have the hook up for you! The best part about this show is how cool people are. John Hash from OSS was uber knowledgeable about this stuff, from a "been there, done that" perspective. I'm headed to an after party now. I'll have more later... stay tuned!
  9. Day 1: OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!!! More to come....
  10. Correct. No Form-1 for us "more civilized" folks.
  11. What model is this?
  12. Much sexier with the fixed full stock.
  13. If there's honestly a burr inside the chamber, a reamer should suffice. Just insert and spin by hand to see if it catches anything. If it does, apply pressure and scrape it off... If not, polish... In either case, pay $25 and take your rifle home.
  14. I fuckin hate it when know-nothin cops write reports or booking sheets... those charges are all wrong. I truly hope the news fucked it up. The SBR charge was ill thought out. I would've nailed them with first with "home invasion" and "burglary"... always add "conspiracy" whenever you have 2 or more suspects... The hit them with "felon in possession of a firearm" and the felony enhancement of "armed with a firearm in commission of a felony"... All violations are felonies that are MUCH more likely to stick... Most of those are worth about 3-5 years, plus the enhancement. That's upto 25 years if served consecutively. Their only saving grace is, I'm sure these guys disabled their PRC required "bullet button" turning their pistol into an "unregistered AW".... NOT possession of an illegal "Assault Rifle"... which we all know has to have full auto fire. Upon closer inspection, it even looks like it may have been an 80% build.
  15. Wait till later this week.... I'd show you first hand, but you chickened out!
  16. SWORD International also has a .338LM. I was fortunate enough to shoot it recently.....and WOW!!!
  17. Wow. GB handed that 4th quarter over....
  18. Sounds like the BCM tech (I'm assuming BCM = Bravo Company??) set you straight. Glad things worked out for you. After you have 100-200 rounds of decent ammo through your rifle, things should be worn in enough to play with some cheaper NATO/Surplus stuff.
  19. I just got excited and then very disappointed. ... Now I know how my wife felt on our wedding night.
  20. I may know a secret about this... more to come (hopefully)
  21. Good luck finding out from this OP.... This thread is 3 years old, and the OP hasn't been online here in almost two years.
  22. I have a buddy (featured in VW magazine several times) who drives a classic beetle with a 911 Turbo crammed in the back.... talk about sleeper! If memory serves me correctly, 11.8 in the 1/4 on a perfect run at Sears Point Raceway. (Dq'd for lack of cage)
  23. Knowing firsthand how big Bubba is... Those are two dudes I would NOT want running at me. I don't care what sport it is. You're looking svelte brother!
  24. I just really hate seeing all those high quality Mega and JP parts get uglied up with cheap CMMG crap. Kinda like seeing a guy who owns a Ferrari, shopping for tires at Walmart.
