  1. The SCS is a buffer and spring combo. You can't add Slash buffer too, because of the mechanics of the SCS. If you want the SCS, you get to ditch your buffer, buffer spring and buffer retaining pin.
  2. Except for the whole falling and crashing part
  3. Why 1:12" twist for such large projectiles? The .338 and .358 are 180-250 grains. I'm no reloader, but I'd think a 1:10 would be more appropriate? ? ?
  4. You can thank some douche bag for that. He was too juvenile to refrain from posting idiotic forum diarrhea... then tried to hide his ignorance. There's now a 30 min windows to correct typos and grammatical errors... everything after that time is sealed fate.
  5. The norma magnum is way too long for a .308AR. I wouldn't use a rifle length gas on any length of barrel... not for that caliber. The .358 Win doesn't have enough powder to burn in that diameter of a barrel. Instead, since I assume you're not planning beyond 200 yard shots, I'd go short as possible and use an adjustable gas block.
  6. SLR is reletively new, but proven to be quality. I'm even debated replacing my beloved APEX for an SLR Mlok. I'd say you can buy with confidence. The "Rule" is in effect. We all look forward to your review. Lol
  7. Sebastian and Mongo!!! hahahahahahaha They do grow 'em big out there.
  8. Congrats! I'm in the business of making grand-babies! I believe they keep my parents younger, rather than the the misconception that they make you older. I watched my father and my (almost) two year old son run around the house for hours yesterday. Not something I imagine a lot of 62 year old guys doing otherwise.
  9. That goes away... I have three of them and they are all better now.
  10. I see a "new" one every once in awhile. I didn't think they made them anymore. I think Edge owns one.
  11. I'll bet it'll sell close to "New". When you point out the price of 7.62x39 ammo and how the gov't is attacking .223 ammo,it should sell itself.
  12. I've seen them as much as $1500.
  13. Crowned or threaded barrel
  14. Do you have Colt mags for it?
  15. If you call in the order, instead of doing it online, I'm sure they'll make any adjustments to the rifle you'd like.
  16. PPS. If you build that rifle above... and you use a single CMMG part... I'll ban you from this forum. Just sayin'...
  17. PS. Normally I'd recommend the BattleComp BABC... but that's for a more "tactical" use and not so much for the hunter/target rifle.
  18. SI Defense Ambi Matched Receiver Set Criterion 16" SS Rifle Length Barrel Any Reputable "NiB" BCG.... SI-D makes one! CMC Trigger BAD Inc Ambi Safety MechArmor Defence TacOps-1 Magpul MOE+ Grip APEX CNC 15" Handguard Any reputable muzzle brake (AAC, Lantac, PRI, JP... Etc) Rifle length gas tube and low profile gas block Mission First Tactical "Minimalist" Stock and Assembly... Don't forget the receiver plate with a QD mount! Slash's Heavy Carbine Buffer and AR-10 Buffer Spring.... Or ask Farkle about his Vltor A5 combo setup. Never look back, thank me later, and don't forget to tip your waitress.
  19. For the record, SurvivalShop is batting near 1000 on his online diagnosis'. Scrap what I said and check his idea first.
  20. I just lol'd
  21. I'm with 98. I think there's too much travel inside your carrier. The cam is literally ripping the bolts apart.
  22. This article has been posted about 3 or 4 times. There's another one, very similar in study, that has been posted even more.
  23. More machines. Less features. Simpler design. Larger facilities.
  24. SI-D makes the most advanced receiver set on the market right now. Mega has produced anything new in almost 4 years.
