  1. Buy the special color you want, the paint then black parts. Black is easier to match than foliage
  2. That’s not 2-5x20mm.... that is a fixed 2.5x20mm ypu will hate the low fixed power. You will hate the 20mm field of view. It also specifically says “rimfire” on it. It’s parallax is probably set for only 25 yards.
  3. You're already invested... Just finish strong. It's like dating a super hot chick, and then telling her, "No thanks baby. I'll just take a handjob." Of course you'll still enjoy it... But wouldn't you appreciate a bit more out of her???
  4. You need an ACOG 4x32 (9.9 oz) with a lightweight mount https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3b.php?pid=TA01B https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3.php?pid=TA01NSN-308
  5. Like this?
  6. He didn't leave a lot to go on.
  7. I love the idea of a 12.5" barrel.... Just wondering if he was thinking of something like an 8 incher???
  8. I'm guessing, from the use of your acronym "PDS", that you are referring to a Personal Defense System... Specifically a semi-automatic firearm, with the ability to carry in a compact/portable manner. I'm also guessing that your use of "AR10" does not mean Armalite specific AR-10's, and is generalizing ALL .308 AR format rifles.... **We actually view this faux pas akin to calling ALL sports cars "Corvettes" even though only Chevrolet makes the Corvette... Just FYI. Lastly, I'm guessing from your use of 07/02, that you are referring to being a licensed 07-FFL with a Pawn Shop (or similar). What are you trying to get out of your firearm? There is plenty of experience here with 12.5" to 20" .308 rifles. Making a firearm (pistol/firearm/SBR) with a 12.5" barrel has been done very successfully here. What kind of "advise" are you looking for? Parts? Necessity? Reliability? Functionality? Feasibility? TBH... Why? There are a LOT of other calibers that would perform better, in a smaller and lighter package, that would cost less, and would be all-around better options.... Just sayin'
  9. Why not a fixed power optic?
  10. Don’t get @98Z5V started.... rant incoming☁️☁️☁️
  11. I use 21rd PMAGs in my duty gun.
  12. You only need heat if there’s something other than torque holding the metal together; rust, loctite, etc. use cold to separate two metals. They shrink in opposite directions. I’ve done this myself to remove troublesome screws.
  13. Except when you’re raping them for cost on a product! Like I said, my price as a FFL is $99 directly from Geissele. Even if I was a wholesale distributor, my price would be $93. Getting a layered Noveske part for nearly a wholesale cost is awesome. They HAD TO lose money on this one
  14. oh gawd... Please for the sake of all that is sacred. Stop ordering from that site. Every time you hit "submit order" Jesus has to kick a baby elephant. If you won't do it for us, do it for the baby elephants. CTD is run by a bunch of barely-English-speaking foreign companies. They have next to ZERO knowledge of the products they are selling. You literally just bought the same product twice... but there is a silver lining. The Noveske Super BA CH is just a re-branded Geissele Super CH. I get those for $99 directly from Geissele. From the looks of it, you may have got a great deal for their mislabeled idiocy. Geissele/Noveske only have two sizes of charging handles... small and large.
  15. but but but... they're so much more reliable than our silly AR format rifles....
  16. That's the new Flash Suppressing Compensator. I can't find it anywhere being sold separate from a rifle. The 18" model is getting great reviews, I'd like to see a blast can available for that beast. The .308 can get pretty loud with a brake/comp on the end. This here ? ?????????
  17. I have an extra P80 compact frame (Blk) I’ll part with. Build your own Gen 3 with it!!!
  18. Single shot exemption... Just need to get a single round magazine/sled I think the .308 would be my favorite. If I could have a suppressor, it'd be a 300Blk HANDS DOWN! I'd probably cut the barrel an extra 2" too
  19. Orrrrrrrrrrrr..... a pistol stabilizing brace! its hard to tell from pics, but it looks like it has a M4 receiver extension port at the back. If so... I’m feeling a VLTOR storage tube and an SBA3 will be on order to follow. Possible a SB folding adapter would be on order too!
  20. Abs are just perception
  21. Because I can! and because my GSR uses the same mags, and I have about 20 of them now.
  22. The 416 is just a G36 inside an AR15.
  23. I have a G36k issued to me for duty. I hate that gawdam POS. The only positive about it, is the same reason we still use them... the operating system is flawless! I’ve had to attend NUMEROUS trainings with it, utterly embarrassed each time, but it definitely represents when it’s time to grade performance mine also has the ridiculous dual optics, massive MOA RDS over a minuscule 2x that has a 10mm objective. I would’ve replaced it already, but a top rail is several hundred dollars The LW 14.5” barrels are CHF and “were” accurate enough. Mine is completely shot out and barely holding 6MOA... although, that could be part of the POS optics too. We just purchased a stash of 11.5” Colts. I’m hoping that there’s a transition in the VERY near future.
  24. Let me be the first to say... THIS IS FUCKIN HAPPENING!!! https://www.range365.com/remington-introduces-model-700-chassis-pistol Remington Introduces the Model 700 Chassis Pistol This new hunting bolt action pistol comes chambered in .308, .223, or 300BLK. By Joseph Albanese Yesterday at 11:15am 0 Comments The barrel for the .308 model is slightly longer. Remington Big Green goes short by introducing the Model 700CP, a bolt-action pistol built on their beloved Model 700 receiver. The new pistol will be available in .300 BLK, .308 Win, and .223 Rem. Handgun hunters likely remember the XP-100, Remington’s hand-held bolt-action bullpup that achieved cult status amongst those chasing varmints with a pistol. The XP-100 was offered in a number of calibers, but the .221 Fireball was amongst the most popular. Most of these were single-shot affairs, with the exception on the XP-100R (R for Repeater) models, which combined an internal four round magazine similar to those found on bolt action rifles. The Remington XP-100 bullpup bolt action pistol. Wiki Commons The XP-100 was built with the action from the Model 40X, but Remington’s latest take on the bolt-action pistol has Model 700 DNA. The 40X was an important evolutionary step for Remington, leading to the Model 600 that Colonel Jeff Cooper spoke so highly of, but is archaic in comparison. A review of police department gun lockers and hunters safes would be a testament to the accuracy and reliability of the Model 700. The Model 700 Chassis Pistol is available in three centerfire calibers: .300 BLK, .308 Win, and .223 Rem. Predictably, the .300 and .223 barrels are the same length, taping out to 10.5 inches. In order to squeeze more velocity out of the .308, Remington’s engineers stretched that barrel to 12.5 inches. All barrel feature light contours with threaded muzzles. All of the 700 CP barrels come with threaded muzzles. tactical-life.com Gone are the single-shot and blind magazine designs, swapped out in favor of Accuracy International-pattern mags. This means you can stuff the pistol with as many rounds as your state’s regulations—and budget—will allow. The 700 CP will also work with Magpul PMags. Unlike the XP-100, the 700 CP doesn’t come with sights. This is probably for the best, as most found on the XP-100 were unceremoniously hacked off in favor of a scope immediately after purchase. The top of the receiver features an 8-inch removable Picatinny rail, so you have plenty of choices for optics. Accuracy International and Magpul PMags can be used in the 700 CP. tactical-life.com The XP-100 was designed for hunting, but the threaded barrel, free-floating forend with M-LOK attachment points on all eight sides gives us a clue to the 10CP’s intended use: a one-stamp platform for braced, suppressed pistol. The short barrel of the handgun just about makes a can necessary to tame the muzzle blast, begging for the addition of one. It’s difficult to tell from the photos, but it appears the pistol grip is threaded to accept AR-style buffer tubes. If so, the addition of a brace would only take seconds. The pistol comes suppressor ready. tactical-life.com Firing the pistol off-hand become much easier, and the whole package is small and unobtrusive enough to become a favorite for home defense or defending the back 40 from coyotes. MSRP: $1,022
  25. I won’t lie, I kinda dig their armored clothing. We’re looking at making something similar, using level II ballistic armor.
