  1. I love flat triggers! I have two CMC flat triggers. I can't wait to see how one feels, with the Magpul K2 grip, on an AR pistol.
  2. Read about her here
  3. I met a local guy who does TiN coating... If you're interested, I could look him up again.
  4. Hell, you could deep fry the rusted bumper off a old Buick. As long as you have Ranch dressing to dip it in, it'll taste good.
  5. Some states forbid collapsing stocks, so to circumvent the law people pin the stocks at their desired length. That way they can have the look of a collapsible stock, when it really acts as a fixed stock. I think the easiest way to do this is to drill a pin into the stock release handle, locking it into place.
  6. It kills me to have a complete NiB .308 BCG, except for the Cam... I bought a full auto AR15 BCG made by WMDGUNS. I use it in my 300Blk. The entire BCG is NiB coated. They do some phenomenal work.
  7. I know, it's heart breaking. The popularity of the 300Blk grew faster than the production of the round.
  8. I plan on doing hog hunting with mine. I don't know your buddies rifle, but I'd choose a 125gr to 150gr. It all depends on the distance I was planning on hunting. I like lighter loads for flatter shots. The 300 AAC loaded with Barnes 110gr TSX was rated the bullet of the year. Wicked accuracy and awesome bullet performance.
  9. PM me, I think I have a few extras in my gear box.
  10. I just realized that you are only talking about cam pins. Call them up and set something up as a biz account. And if you are making them for the .308, you can sign me up for 2 of them!!!
  11. I'm still trying to find a reliable hand loader. I want to try those 110gr Barnes still.
  12. Anyone know where I can find an Armalite AR-10 carbine buffer spring? I'm hoping y'all can point me in the right direction.
  13. The way 98 explains it, you can also work on your sear reset. That will also increase your accuracy as well.
  14. SI defense also makes a stainless steel version.
  15. Where the hell were you an hour ago!!! I'm more pissed that I didn't think of that...
  16. Well, lots of 4 letter words later... A set of channel lock pliers helped a LOT.
  17. Fukc ejector pins! There has to be an easier way.
  18. 245gr!!! Good lord that's a lot of lead. I'm going to keep an eye on these guys. I'd love something closer to 125gr.
  19. Since the FNX came out, it kinda shot the value of the FNP.... But that doesn't mean the FNP isn't worth it still. Especially the "Tactical" model.
  20. It all depends on how techie the owner is, but it could be done. I think the issue is with the upper, and not the lower. An aluminum plug can be made and installed in the take down hole. (A guy did that here already with a bad 80% drill.) Then just re-drill the hole to match the lower. If I remember correctly, the process involves some machining skill, a bit of metallurgy knowledge and a small quantity liquid nitrogen.
  21. You didn't tell me you had the Champ Operator too!!! I officially hate you now! Don't worry, it's just a jealousy thing until I can find one willing to be shipped to the People's Republic of Kalifornistan. (Or maybe a Kimber TLE/RL Pro) I scored my full rail TRP Oper for a HUGE deal, but I'd really like a commander sized model.
  22. You could also try VZ grips, or Hogue micarta grips. They are thinner and have one hellofa grip to them. I have a set on my P220 and my TRP Operator... They are NICE!!!
  23. We issue the P226 .40 at work. I have seen all the modifications so far. First off.... The SRT upgrade is a must!!! I would choose the short trigger OR the E2 grip. The only people I have seen do both, are extremely small women in the dept. The grips are too small for me, but my wife loved them. From the sounds of your OP, you don't need the short trigger. If you were pushing the trigger and throwing your groups to the side, then I'd suggest the trigger. If you put the trigger in now, you might start pulling your groups until you retrain you finger.
  24. That's not a steal, that's sodomy. The RMR (even used) is a $500 sight.
