  1. Been a “beaver” and “tail” man all my life, only reasonable that I put them on my pistols. I even put the larger grips on my AR’s to simulate that grip. Paid extra for my Sig elite model, just for the beaver tail. After I bought this super ️‍? Glock I knew I was going to need one. I fumbled with a few options. I even considered sending it away to have one melted into it. The issue is that the Gen4 has limited option, the 45 cal’s reduce those options even more, and having a magwell on my grip pretty much eliminated all options. In the long run I decided to just make my own. Glock G41 Gen4 MOS the Gen4 pistols come with a set of pistol back straps. I picked out the med sized beaver tail, cut it to size with some large shears, then used a dremmel to make it “perfect”. It didn’t spend 10 mins on this project... which makes me more embarrassed that I waited this long to do it. Tom, get your soldering iron warmed up. If I make it down there in the fall, we’re taking these gawdam finger grooves off and stippling the fuckoutta this grip. We will call that Wednesday the “Paint N Stipple Party”
  2. I was waiting for you to comment on this. Riggs by Wrangler is one of the best pants I’ve ever owned.
  3. What part? We were just outside of Reno.
  4. Ps. New barrels and bolts incoming.
  5. My headspace is still a little fuckered up. Before I got involved, my partner has a habit of sending the bolt home with the headspace gauge in the chamber. I think the chamber is a little mashed, and has me about .005 out of spec.
  6. That was a beast... it fucked up that bullet “resistant” glass too!!!
  7. @Matt.Cross you’d love Tim. He’s a mad scientist type of machinist/engineer. Immensely talented.... or as Greg would say, “he’s wicked smaht!” He’s from Indiana too... so just like you , I could barely understand a word he said. ????
  8. SAS Suppressors was kind enough to build us a couple dedicated suppressors, designed specifically for the CR-7 .338 Lapua Magnum. Only 8” long and 10oz. This little badass is short, lightweight and hearing safe.... oh, and due to the proprietary design of the QD Mount, there’s no shift in the zero with/without the can. We had 7 or 8 rounds at 100 yards, holding about a 0.18” group. One fat little jagged hole.
  9. I almost forgot... 8” 300Blk
  10. Hanging out with Tim, owner of SAS Suppressors.
  11. I guess I should add mine... SI Defense (do they even make rifles anymore?) A. 1.45” B. 2.25”
  12. Hahaha i was never a MultiCam fan until their black version cam out.
  13. Hahahahahahahaha ????.... so much for just rebarreling that old .308 you weren’t shooting.
  14. Mmmmmmm.... Spam!
  15. No link??? What are you, new??? Let ME google that for YOU.
  16. This rifle is so badass!
  17. I am going to be using this information in the design of my lower receiver, so I can be as compatible as possible with all LR-308 style upper receivers. I haven’t forgot about you Ron. There’s still a possibility of an AR-10A in the future
  18. @Matt.Cross... @98Z5V... I'm calling you guys out first (mainly because I called R2 last night, so he's off the hook). Anyone that wants to participate is welcome here. I'm trying to get an idea of the difference in measurements between lowers. This number could determine the compatibility when mixing uppers and lowers from different manufacturers. I need both measurements "A" and "B". So far my numbers for measurement "A" shows AR-10B @ 1.61" and the LR308 @ 1.54".... I'd love to know your results. The B measurement could vary even more greatly (even with perfectly compatible receivers) due to the unpredictability of the 308AR receiver spec's. Please list your make/model with your measurements.
  19. I hear your complaint.
  20. I’m going to try save you some $$$ and headache... the PRS is a $200 brick. It weighs way more than it needs to and costs 2x more than comparable stocks. The Gen3 stock will fit ANY “rifle” receiver extension (buffer tube)... I put “rifle” in quotes because there are “pistol” tubes that are much thicker than the more common “rifle” tube. I have lots of experience with this stock. I have to install 150 of them for a current order and I can’t wait for them to all be gone... Do yourself the favor and take a look at the AB Arms USS for a lighter/less-expensive alternative. It too will fit on an adjustable tube. I recently started using this fixed stock and I REALLY like it. That grip fin is atrociously over priced. If you like the Kydex, there are MUCH cheaper alternatives on eBay and Amazon. Check out the options by Stike Industries also. Their simple grip is only $10-$15. MFT makes a nice option too!
  21. Isn’t BHO under investigation as of today too?
  22. You’re going to have to give me a few days to make good on this. I don’t own the shotgun myself. It belongs to my friend. I will set up a date to hang out with him soon, but it’s going to be at least a week before I can post pictures. My schedule is packed for the next 6–7 daysI will set up a date to hang out with him soon, but it’s going to be at least a week before I can post pictures. My schedule is packed for the next 6–7 days
  23. I hear that those crazy fuckers were out in the desert today, shooting .338 LM with a custom built SAS 8” Ti suppressor. No ear pro needed.... only 12oz added.
  24. Waiting for some entrepreneur to use a SB Brace, cut the XTR barrel, and make us a “firearm”.
  25. I have some first hand experience with the XTR and it is all positive. 1. Most important... it eats everything! From Walmart bird shot to duty buckshot. It all went bang. I did not try any legitimate “low recoiled 2. It is a standard LR-308 lower receiver. The buffer weighs about one ounce and the buffer spring is only about half the normal length. Swap the recoil assembly and you can fit a LR308 compatible upper on there. 3. It is deceptively lightweight. The biggest weight loss being the standard shotgun barrel. I’ve heard rumor that people have sent their barrels in for internal threads and added some screw-in choke tubes. Making a 00 buckshot pattern at 50 yards with an Extr Full choke would be badass. 4. The 8 round mag is all steel construction and about the size of a LR25 mag. It weighs a ton, especially when loaded up with defensive loads.
