A heavy buffer may be better suited to solve this, especially if he isn't reloading his own ammo.

It could be an overgassing issue, and a heavier buffer would help, but we need pics.

My mk12 ar15, not a large frame. Those two are my Larue and Pws. For now.

It can be done, but I still don't trust those polymer lowers. To many people experiencing failures. The only thing I would use one for would be a dedicated 22lr training rifle, but that's just me

My matched Mega billet ar15 sets are a thing of beauty….. Just saying. I would through this experience justify the extra dough if matched sets were available at purchasing time.

Muzzle breaks work well, but ^^^ is one side affect - side shock wave, the other is they tend to be a bit noisy. But I would still recommend one. The other thing would be a heavy buffer from Heavybuffers.com. While it seems like it would be a lot of felt weight, they really do reduce the felt affect of recoil, by a lot, and they balance out the heavy front end nicely in my opinion.
