  1. Those scratches are from the feed ramps and are normal. The factory rarely fires 10 rounds. Soft point ammo may have feeding issues in any AR type weapon. Not enough rounds down range for a break in I’m guessing plus some missing info from OP.
  2. Since this is a home build complete parts list would help us. Armalite receivers is a good start. Next?
  3. Complete Armalite recoil system. They are available on the site. No luck copy and pasting sorry.
  4. False! Your buffer is way too light. Springs from Armalite are the same for rifle and carbine, buffers are different sizes.
  5. First. Welcome. Second, Armalite factory rifle? Of what vintage and exact model number? You may have an A or B pattern, big difference, one uses sr25 pattern mags the other uses traditional Armalite mags! That I’m guessing is the entire issue.
  6. So, if you want Larue it’ll be tough to find a matching lower as not many companies are building in that pattern, so you may be looking at a complete rifle. If you would like to build, which I encourage you to, then the Aero sets are not only budget minded but pretty nice. Mega Maten sets are gorgeous, I have one I’m building up, and offer full ambi options. Using quality parts in the heart of your rifle (barrel, bcg and trigger) is where you will find accuracy. Armalite and Matrix are the only ones I can think of using that cut. Knight’s are too now that I think of it.
  7. Those will not mix. Larue uses Armalite cut but I would call to see if it will fit.
  8. I agree with shooter. If it’s a killer deal I am agreeing as long as you are ok to listen and learn we can fix it. If not then pass on it and we can help you on other options
  9. This is going sideways and I’m locking it. @rickoshay, welcome aboard. Please read up on posts and feel free to contribute, joke and enjoy the shenanigans.
  10. Waiting for a reply as to whether they will sell to me
  11. I’m guessing 2008-2010 production date. Hard to tell definitively since Remington deleted all the old info
  12. That is an older model that probably is long out of production.
  13. My daughter loves it. I’m looking to jump in, I like the time spent with her. Been looking at the Bowtech TLX
  14. Are you addressing anyone specifically or should we guess?
  15. We are getting smoke out here from the west coast
  16. There was a post here that I just removed and banned the member who made it. It contained behavior and language that I believe does not reflect our vary diverse core of members. This place is sacred. If you piss on my boots and tell me it’s raining I will skin you alive and leave you to the buzzards. If you mess with my family? I will end your lineage.
  17. True story
  18. Great! A write up may help others. If you wouldn’t mind post it in the part section so it’s easier to find?
  19. I have two white oak barrels, absolutely laser beams
  20. Stern defense 9mm upper and mag block
  21. Sorry, more specifically inner depth of tube, length of buffer (we have weight thank you), length of spring
  22. Also, you can’t go wrong with anything LaRue
  23. That may be the only one right now but I know at one point there was another, I can’t for the life of me remember the brand
  24. Rev, no worries. Like I said in my last post, that buffer isn’t heavy enough. Let’s get the recoil system right and the rifle well lubed then start again
