  1. You'll go through phases with us - everyone does. <dontknow> <laughs> I love this place // you guys are costing me money // I can't believe all the helpful info // my wife is mad at me now // I don't know why I came here in the first place // I wish I would have known about this place earlier // I wish I never found this place, it's too expensive // thank you guys, for saving me so much money // fornicate you guys, for costing me so much money // I don't know what I'd do without you // I can't believe I still listen to you // I haven't slept in my own bed for months, I live in the shed now // my wife loves my new rifle // my wife hates my new rifle // I never thought of that! // now that I found that out, my credit card is maxed out // That;s really cool!!! // that just cost me a shitload of money // it's a trainwreck, but I can't look away // this was thread-jacked AGAIN?! It never ends, brother. Damn glad you're here anyway, so don't hesitate to ask how to spend your money... <thumbsup> <lmao>
  2. You already got me on the Springfield, man - that's as far as it goes... <nutkick> <laughs> I even had to buy the one with the thumb safety, just to make it "more 1911-ish..." Bastage... :thefinger:
  3. I have several of the VTAC Mk1 slings, too - same principal of design, for a 2-point, 1" wide strap (not as comfortable as wider material), and it uses the old-skool army-issue rucksack strap metal adjuster - excellent stuff. There's nothing bad with any VTAC sling, no matter which model.
  4. Wow...
  5. That's very smart - excellent coating to battle the effects of the corrosive ammo. Nitro-carburizing ("melonite" treatment) is another excellent coating to help against corrosive ammo. Look into that, too, Dave. <thumbsup> http://www.burlingtoneng.com/melonite.html
  6. Awesome stock, isn't it stain? I'm very impresed with it. <thumbsup>
  7. Please, for yourself, don't buy that stuff. It is the absolute worst stuff out there. The horror stories about them never end. Search out Blackthorne, Hesse, Vulcan (the three names that company has had), and you'll see what's out there. Here's a quick search, and results: https://www.google.com/#hl=en&gs_rn=8&gs_ri=psy-ab&tok=GtN7qkwYZpaqZJqSzBLjNw&cp=16&gs_id=1w&xhr=t&q=blackthorne+hesse+vulcan&es_nrs=true&pf=p&sclient=psy-ab&oq=Blackthorne,+Hes&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.44770516,d.b2I&fp=3c7cb8fe1bdef3d2&biw=1097&bih=550
  8. By all means, my good man, by all means... <laughs> Jon is a bad dude...
  9. That's all that matters, brother. All. I have four from my Grandfather, and my two dip-poop cousins got NONE of them. For a reason. In reality, what you have, whether it works or not - you have a treasure, and it's not worth anything that anyone could offer you. Keep it.
  10. I'm a little late to this game, but just for reinforcement... THAT is bullpoopy.... Complete bullpoopy. That's not necesarily for you, OP, at this point, but it's more for anyone else that searches out this thread, looking for an answer. That's COMPLETE bullpoopy.
  11. No brother, it's two topics here, between you and EasyE... It's my fault, because I can't keep up between both of them... :cookoo:
  12. Im curious myself - at least I didn't have to buy this one... :eek7:
  13. You and I... we think alike, my brother. If the others only knew... <thumbsup> On the same note, I'd take one of Robby Gordon's junk trucks, too - the ones he throws away for dune trips... The BIG one... Others... Don't want one of his stadium trucks, though - too nice...
  14. I've got the little brother to your Kimber, brother, in the Tac Pro II, 4". My carry gun for 2.5 years, until these bastards here talked me into a plastic gun... :cookoo:
  15. Someone else was ordering, someone else is asking questions... this topic has gone so sideways, we'll never keep up... Smaller Berdans, to the larger boxers - large rifle or small rifle - ream the cases to accept the boxers. Primer pocket reamers are gonna be those two sizes. I don't even know where we're going here, anymore... <dontknow>
  16. Something like this would suffice...
  17. Dude, SHE DID!!! MY EYES!!! <laughs> <lmao>
  18. That's the way "it's best," right there. ^^^
  19. He didn't have the pic up there before... :bitchslap: <laughs>
  20. Sounds like a pretty serious cousin-malfunction. :eek7: Glad it made it to ya, man. That's awesome. <thumbsup>
  21. That will only apply to California - Idaho will be fine... <thumbsup> <laughs>
  22. That, right there, says it all. <thumbsup> Youngin's have NO idea...
  23. Mike, I love that! That's so damn cool, brother... <thumbsup>
  24. I have 2 padded, and 2 unpadded. They rock. Been saying it since summer 2010. <thumbsup>
  25. Dave's parts are above reproach. Trust me on this guys. I have a whooooooole lot of his stuff, for testing and R&D. It's everything it needs to be, and then some. I'll have a writeup coming soon. <thumbsup>
