  1. Same here - I didn't need to see this... I was actually saving up some money recently, too. Damnit. :o
  2. That sucks about the S&B ammo, man. I have no problems with the .45 ACP, but my buddy hates the .380 through his pistol. I thought it was just the .380 stuff. I'd definitely try it again with the heavier hammer spring. <thumbsup>
  3. 40 years of democratic control could fukk anything up... I'm just sayin'... <dontknow>
  4. I knew you'd look at that one, and say, "Damn..." <lmao> <thumbsup>
  5. Hard to even find Gen 1s out there anymore - almost nonexistant. Gen 2s is all you'll get anyway. <thumbsup>
  6. I can smell what you're spreadin'... <laughs> My Kimbers love that ammo... <thumbsup> <lmao> That's a "very plural" there... ;D
  7. I absolutely LOVE... ...being fortunate enough to be a Brass Whore on the local range... <thumbsup> <laughs> <lmao>
  8. That's good ammo. <thumbsup>
  9. Hate to say it Drew, especially in your locale, but... Neither of those states, with the legislation and laws they already have in effect, deserve to have major firearms manufacturers in their state. Just my 2 bullets... <dontknow>
  10. There's never enough ammo. With that said, I'm seeing product notifications on out-of-stock items - I get the emails, stating the product is back in stock again, log in to buy a few things, and the poop is already sold out again... That's some hoarding... >:(
  11. Damn. :o If I decide to tweak an M1, I'm sending it to you. I wouldn't care what the price was... <thumbsup> That's some good info...
  12. Depends on how you mount on the front. Both those rears will line up, as long as you match the front. High pic-rail gas blocks (very few) will take a same-plane front sight, as well as something mounted to the front of a rail/handguard setup. If you get a lower pic-rail gas block, then you'll need a front sight designed for that height. Several companies make them. Bottom line - depends on what you do at the front, not at the rear.
  13. JON!!! I clicked this topic in FEAR! I was thinking that you were moving... :o You scared the hell outta me... :cookoo: <laughs>
  14. You're going to end up with all kinds of problems with that Blackthorne upper. I hate to say it, but it's true. You'll have to find a good gunsmith, that's very familiar with the AR platforms, and see if he can help you. There will probably be multiple issues with that upper. Not trying to blow you off, but here's some information about that company: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=vulcan+hesse+blackthorne&oq=Vulvan+Hesse+&gs_l=hp.1.1.0i13i30l7j0i8i13i30l2.2576.7168.0.10292.13.13.0.0.0.0.388.1659.9j2j1j1.13.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.dHoSIEsGZfM
  15. They are damn good triggers, for standard triggers. I'm pleased with the move of mine to the .45 AR, and it'll stay there. I've got the ALG Combat Trigger on the way, and it should compare very closely to the Spike's NiB trigger. <thumbsup>
  16. Exactly - I don't know how he thinks he's "going to stop" at two of them... <dontknow> <laughs> <lmao>
  17. THAT. IS. BADASS!!! <thumbsup> :happydrunks:
  18. I order from them routinely. WA to AZ order times are usually 2 days, and it's in my hands. They are badass. <thumbsup>
  19. What Surefire can(s) does that one adapt to?
  20. Wish I woulda known that you were coming here - I'm right in town, man, and almost always home. <thumbsup>
  21. I happen to have some Duracoat Flourescent Hot Pink on the way, brother. That'll make the slippers look SCHWEEEEET!!! <laughs> <lmao> :ecs:
  22. It's just a standard, issue trigger, with the exception that it's been NiB coated. It's more smooth than a standard trigger, and the fact that it's Nib coated gives it slightly less trigger pull than the issued, stock triggers that you see in the regular Mil rifles. Just a smoother Mil trigger. I've been using one since mid-2010, and it keeps getting moved from rifle to rifle, as I buy more "upgraded" triggers. It's final home, not to be moved again, is in the .45 ACP AR. It's staying there.
  23. Help the seller out a little, here - what state are you in? If you're in some kind of east coast-west coast config here, he'll know that he can just tell you "face to face isn't really feasible..." Make sense?
  24. I'm plugging away, but we've been 4k votes behind consistently... :hunter:
