  1. Nice update - long overdue. <thumbsup>
  2. That's what Harborview is all about! Not many know it, but the LA Gang migration worked it's way directly up the Left Coast when old Fort Ord and 7th Infantry Division closed down in Monterey, and moved (somewhat) to Fort Lewis, Washington. The gangs went with 'em. Seattle has turned into a mess, and Harborview is one hell of a trauma hospital now. This guy definitely knows first hand. Madigan Army Medical Center, ON Fort Lewis, used to carry the same level of trauma care and response, just due to the needs of the area, but I think the Army downgraded that status on them. Everything in that area gets sent to Harborview now...
  3. Awesome results, man! <thumbsup>
  4. I completely agree, brother, but this president needs to go. He sticks his nose into poop that doesn't matter to him at that level, and he's killing this country. Things he has no business in, or even commenting on: The Professor Gates bullpoopy - that mouthy fukker needed to be arrested for the poop he did, and he was arrested. That's not the business of the Pres, and not his place to even offer a public opinion about. Trayvon... again, not his business. This guy has got to get the hell out of office, before his damage thus far is irreversible. Quite honestly, at this point, there is no worse choice, no matter what it is. Anything is better than what we've got right now... <dontknow> The current opponent combination looks pretty damn good, too.
  5. Since I'm dragging my own thread all over the place, might as well change it up again... <lmao> Working on clutching today, men. <thumbsup> This one is mine, one of ten. <laughs>
  6. Well, it's on - hope this goes places, like straight to the White House. Paul Ryan it is. <thumbsup>
  7. We welcome you with open arms!!! <thumbsup> <laughs> <lmao> You can stay at my place. ;D
  8. Brother, you better pack a lunch, and bring a BIG FUKKIN BAG. I'm just sayin'... ;D <dontknow> Something about this size might be your "preferred method..." This is just the box I take to the range, just in case... Yes, it's got "wings..." <laughs> The top level - important poop. The sub-levels, and separate boxes - there's poop everywhere... :o Close ups - I'll send out a 5.56mm BCM BCG to any registered member (as of this posting) that can identify all this poop. <thumbsup> ALL of it. ;)

    Robo, why?...

Why did you lock this, man?... <dontknow> <dontknow> :cookoo: http://308ar.com/forum/index.php?topic=4111.0
  10. Still watching, but I had to stop to post this comment. Very interesting information regarding the smaller caliber rifle bullets, which is the 5.56mm in this presentation. I just brought this exact reference up in another thread about a short barrelled rifle, SBR. Someone wanting a 10.5 and I suggested the 11.5, due to the extra velocity between the two - pretty big difference for an inch. Fragmentation is the key, and muzzle velocity is the key to that. Here's what the Doc has to say about it in his presentation: "very interesting for the small calibers, and how they function - or, are supposed to function... if you look at the new, modern high velocity rifle ammunition, the 5.56mm, the injury mechanism is actually not the direct destruction by the bullet, but the fragmentation and jarring of the bullet. ...the bullet fragmentates, and causes these large cavities. this is the idea, or the concept behind it. ...and this how these bullets became so deadly, that only when the fragmentate..." I'll state it again. Fragmentation is the key. Back to the video now... <munch>
  11. That wasn't a scowl - I was happy in that pic! :thefinger: Also, that pic does my "long hair days" NO justice... :o <laughs>
  12. YESSS!!! <thumbsup> <thumbsup> <laughs> :happydrunks:
  13. Already have feelers out. <thumbsup>
  14. That is awesome work! <thumbsup>
  15. Mike, I'd bet we can find somebody on this board that can help you locate one of these rifles. <thumbsup>
  16. I can't wait to see this one. <thumbsup>
  17. Tell me about these stretch marks on your wallet... <munch> <laughs>
  18. Oh, I was right there with ya... <thumbsup> ;D
  19. Yep! There are other things that would fit that exact "break-in" description you mention - I digress... <lmao>
  20. All those action parts are new, have edges, springs haven't been cycled, etc. You're just making all the pieces-parts work together for the first time. Kinda like breaking in a new engine build - wear surfaces have to mate to each other.
  21. If I was in the market for a complete rifle, I'd buy the new Armalite 16" .308 carbine that takes the Pmags. I still want one of those. <thumbsup>
  22. I like shocking my buddies that shoot this thing... I'll load a magnum slug first, then a bunch of #6, and let them try it out. I always instigate, and shoot first, and empty it as fast as I can pull the trigger - all #6, of course. <thumbsup> What's fresh in their mind is how fast the shottie cycles - they're not paying attention to me loading up... They go through pretty fast, liking the #6, and the last trigger pull is that magnum slug... <laughs> <lmao>
  23. Been around since about 2009, maybe slightly earlier. When I started with mine, I put a 100-rd box of #6 through it, and have never had problems with it eating anything after that. Never been an issue.
  24. Villapoto is out, brother - didn't race the outdoors at all, from that injury at the Seattle SX. Beat his knee up bad. Hopefully, he's back for Supercross in time, and he probably will be. Stewart is a complete badass, and there's nobody that can beat him - except himself. He's doing alright on the Suzuki now, but... only he can beat himself. He's so damn fast, when he's up. :o
  25. I can't believe I got to post "metric poop-ton..." It was so much fun that I had to do it again... <dontknow> <laughs> <lmao>
