  1. Still think you need to post your info, Drew, but I looked at latest changes for WA - it's not enough to help me move back. Latest changes I found was from July of 2011 (I admit I don't keep up, there) - now, not only could you own a suppressor in WA, but as of July, 2011, You can also shoot a supprressor there... In a nutshell, that state is so completely ignorant about the very military that's housed within it's own borders, and so completely ignorant, and repugnant, of it's own laws, that I deem it "too stupid to survive" as a state. It will fall on it's own sword, one day, because of the idiots there. If you've ever driven I-5 from Portland, OR (which is Vancouver, WA), to Seattle... then you know what I'm talking about. Based on driving alone, the wet-side of that state needs to disappear, and start from scatch, out of the rubble. From nothing. <dontknow> <thumbsup>
  2. You have pics to post in the the "Lets see some targets" thread, then! <thumbsup> http://308ar.com/forum/general-discussion/lets-see-some-targets-range-pictures/
  3. jebsimons, this is a good thing for you - if Greg and I keep this up, you might be a KAC dealer in no time at all... <thumbsup> <lmao>
  4. Huh?! :o Completely fair, here. I'll spend your paycheck anyway you want to do it. You just have to tell me how we're doing it... <dontknow> <lmao> <laughs>
  5. Link to news story, please.
  6. Post it, brother - before, the two big things were "NO SBRs" and "You can legally OWN a can here, but you CAN NEVER shoot it HERE." Tell me that has changed... <dontknow>
  7. You pony up, and I'll do the exact same thing... <thumbsup> <laughs> Tell me what "we" are ordering, and do it... <lmao> Send me a PM on what it cost me. :o
  8. Did NOT get to shoot the rifle this Sunday - thought I'd get to, but just too busy. Taught another Appleseed Shoot, and we usually shoot an "Instructor Shoot" at the end, but it ran long, and clean-up took awhile. It was with me, though, and I've been cleaning the drool off it ever since. Here's the real deal on the rifle I picked up - it's not a war-torn original Springfield... no way in hell could I have (both) afforded that, (and) the seller could have sold that. :o It's the Gibb's Rifle Company reproduction rifle. Exact in almost every way, minus the collector costs nowadays. Check the vid:
  9. I'll get in on one of everything that edgecrusher is getting - I can't let him get ahead of me this easily... <thumbsup> <lmao> <laughs>
  10. That ^^^ is a decently complicated process, too. If you're a person that moves alot, getting into NFA firearms can be a difficult process, in the long run, for you. Of all places I love, I lived in WA State for 12 years. I would love to live there again one day, but with their NFA laws, I won't. Decisions, for the long run, come with the acquisition of NFA firearms.
  11. You'll have to mod that handguard slightly, in order to get it to fit the .308 AR. I'll dig for some pics of what needs to be done - it's very minor. Basically, you're cutting the internal heatshield, and bending it out of the way, so it'll clear the barrel nut. <thumbsup>
  12. A guy gets ahold of me and says he has to get rid of this M1903-A4 sniper rifle. He needed the money, and wasn't shooting it hardly at all. I felt bad for him, and I honestly couldn't help myself, with what he was asking for it. Got this with a decent scope and rings on it, already zeroed, action bedded, match barrel - and it was ridiculously cheap. He threw in all the .30-06 brass he had, a set of Lee dies for it, the reproduction manual, the leather sling, and the reproduction scope and mount. Stupid cheap. It might get shot this Sunday, I'll have to see... <thumbsup>
  13. For what?...
  14. Ya gotta watch that one - you'll get bitch slapped if the higher-ups catch you. I look for decent questions over there, from smart people, and send them a message. Public mention, outright, will get ya. Forum rules there, based on "non-site sponsors..." <dontknow>
  15. You must have CLEO sign-off on your ATF forms, but the coolest thing about Tennessee is that there is a State Law that requires CLEOs to sign off, provided you're a legal person: 39-17-1361. Execution of documents by sheriff or chief of police. — The sheriff or chief of police of the city of residence of a person purchasing any firearm, defined by the National Firearms Act, 26 U.S.C. § 5845 et seq., shall execute within fifteen (15) business days of any request all documents required to be submitted by the purchaser if the purchaser is not prohibited from possessing firearms pursuant to § 39-17-1316. That's badass. <thumbsup>
  16. That's some damn nice work there, wash. <thumbsup> Great choice, man.
  17. CavScout, I'm sorry, brother. I feel for you, man.
  18. It should - the gas key almost contacts the front inside part of the upper receiver when the bolt locks.
  19. poop, brother, we're just gettin' revved up. <thumbsup> <laughs> STAND BY!!! <lmao>
  20. You guys are tweakin' a little. THIS is Roger.
  21. Legal in TN. Must process for your ATF tax stamp, but legal to own there. <thumbsup>
  22. I'm picking up a set of extra small pink bunny slippers for you to fit into, buddy... :o <laughs>
  23. Here's the B.A.D. Figure, which is modeled after Roger himself - Roger told me that the figure is incredibly accurate and a direct resemblance... ;D <thumbsup> It also was sent with a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range. 8)
  24. First thing I'd would be shoot a call to DPMS. Ask them about it. When you swapped the barrel in there, did you get the barrel index pin fully seated into the groove in the upper receiver?
