  1. That's what all the :limp-wrist: guys are doin'... <lmao>
  2. Mine dropped right onto the Aero Precision lower, no issues - had to be that old-skool Oly lower that was doing it. I've got a 2003 Oly lower (and upper) that I have to tap the takedown pin into, once the pivot pin is locked. That same upper drops right down on other lowers I've got. It's definitely something that they do with their lowers, and I swear I read somewhere that they do it for a tight, "no-slop" fit... PITA sometimes... Sights and optics... Since it's a .45 ACP round, and it's not going to win any long distance competitions, I figured mine was good for 150 yards, though I've stretched it out to 200 yards. I used a mini red dot setup from Primary Arms, in the American Defense QD mount, with MagPul flip-ups. <thumbsup> It's a thought... <dontknow> <laughs>
  3. The DPMS .308 lowers come threaded, and with a screw - the screw is weak, and you have to be careful with it, but they all come that way. <thumbsup>
  4. Not in the least - you just wait... <thumbsup>
  5. Yes, definitely. Especially at the 200-yard distances. <thumbsup>
  6. It's not "news" anymore, when we were already discussing it in another thread much earlier. GearScout broke the story on the 18th, and we were talking about it right after that. This thread started on the 22nd. Not news. Not by then. <dontknow>
  7. You're really gettin' to me with all this stuff - you're putting new guns up EVERYWHERE... :o
  8. Dude, you're killin' me here... <laughs>
  9. I hear ya on that - when mine came in, I had to take it apart and change something, just so I felt better... :o You did a FINE job with it. <thumbsup>
  10. Damn, man, you're throwin' stuff up all over the board tonight! HOARDER!!! <lmao> <laughs>
  11. OH. YOU. BASTARD! :o That thing is awesome, brother - just awesome. <thumbsup>
  12. As always, I've got you covered on gas tube roll pins... <thumbsup> <laughs> <lmao>
  13. Bonus pic for Drew - he'll know what's up. I was running low on my stash... <lmao>
  14. shepp, that Busa isn't mine - shop bike for a customer. I wouldn't want one, man. That's a death sentence on two wheels, right there. I'd be dead, or in jail, if I had one... :o The bling on this thing would blind you...
  15. That Busa will be pretty sweet when it's finished. I'm almost there now, still waiting on a custom exhaust and a few more parts. I'll get a pic of it into this thread when it's done. <thumbsup>
  16. Minor update for ya, peaches... <thumbsup> <laughs> 2000 rad shrouds came in this morning at work - seat was shipped from the east coast, so it should be along here in the next couple days. Same with the rest of the plastics. Pic of the new shrouds below, and then there's a bonus pic below that one - project bike we're working on. 2012 Hayabusa...
  17. Looks good, man - they make a nice looking lower. <thumbsup>
  18. That PRI block is pretty small - it should fit under there just fine. <thumbsup>
  19. Zero it just like any other optic. The 20MOA mount just gives you more capability to dial in drop at greater distances. You'll initially be cranking your elevation wheel alot more during the zero process.
  20. I love it - I might be picking one of these up. <thumbsup> http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/featured/hope-and-change-lower.html
  21. Myself, I'd have a hard time walking away from the Kriss... :o
  22. BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! <lmao> I'm now "officially" off the hook!... <laughs>
  23. The color case hardened ARs look pretty damn sweet - like 'em alot! <thumbsup>
  24. Yep! Mostly, anyway... Had to change up a few things based on some of the body parts availability. 1998 rad shrouds no longer available. TWO 1999 rad shrouds available, but when I went to order them, one of them was backordered - means it's gone forever... Ended up going with the 1999 seat, and 2000 rad shrouds. The engine, suspension, and everything else ran from 1989 to 2001, mostly unchanged, and all that stuff is still available.
