  2. bigness, which one did you pick up?
  3. That won't work.
  4. Finally spilled the info... <lmao> <laughs> I'm IN. Carbine for me, please. <thumbsup>
  5. You should shoot with me sometime - I'm a Freak on a Leash, man... <lmao> Oh Good Lordy... I can't believe someone brought him up publicly... :o
  6. SWFA/Bobro mount. http://308ar.com/forum/optics-mounts-buis-sights/swfabobro-scope-mount-review/
  7. The + with the circle around it is the NATO headstamp. Indicates that it's not a civilian cartridge (unless it's something that's been reloaded into a NATO case. .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO. The 7.62 ammo will have the NATO headstamp, the .308 Win will not. Same with .223 Rem and 5.56x45 NATO. the .223 Rem won't have a NATO headstamp, but the 5.56 will.
  8. I've already seen it for sale, online, but only at a few places so far. 1lb and 8lb jugs. Tempted to order a 1lb jug, but I'm trying to hold out for an upcoming Cabela's trip next weekend, just to see if they have it yet. <thumbsup>
  9. That was for you, brother - good to see the issue is resolvable. Excellent. <thumbsup>
  10. No way would I run the CAA after having hands-on of the PRS. The two are not even in the same league. I went this route:
  11. This...
  12. I like this thread. <thumbsup> ;D
  13. Nope, not by federal law. State and local might say different. It's smart to ID mark it in some way, in case it's stolen and later recovered, but it's not required if you are the manufacturer of your own, and it's for your own personal use. (Edit - you can't get away with "manufacturing" something that requires a tax stamp, without applying for and paying for that tax stamp... you have to be "manufacturing" something you could buy off the shelf, i.e., no SBRs, no machine guns, no suppressors, no SBSs, etc...)
  14. <lmao> <thumbsup>
  15. You got it, man! <thumbsup>
  16. Does yours still do this, after that intial run-in? Cases ejecting fine now, without those marks? Since there's actual "photographic proof" now, I'm just trying to get my head around the issues with that ejector, as it comes stock...
  17. You should search out his first post here - I'm just sayin'... ;D <thumbsup>
  18. That is the classic story heard about the RRAs. There are accounts all over that the ejector takes some time to "break in." Some of the things I've seen are that it needs 60 rounds, 100 rounds, etc. That's the first time someone has posted up a pic of how extensive it is. Hoot, how many rounds were through your rifle when you took that pic of the cases?
  19. Hey guys, he told us back in September that he was doing something innovative... <thumbsup>
  20. Hang out here, man - you're in the .308, we're all about the .308. It's a happy marriage... Wait. :o That's almost an oxymoron... <lmao> You're quite welcome here. <thumbsup>
  21. If you can grab the manufacturer's info from the roll mark, that will help. It'll have their company name (Tactical Defense), as well as the city and state on there. That's the info needed in order to start digging. I get absolutely nothing in a Google search on them...
  22. Link, brother - provide one. Let us see what you're talking about. Haven't heard of that name as a company yet. We'll get into it, though. <thumbsup>
  23. I have wanted to mill my own receiver for so long - that is incredibly cool! <thumbsup>
  24. Not. At. All. <laughs>
  25. Following your thread over on ARF - you're catching hell over there. Keep at it, man - it's innovation. <thumbsup>
