This is one of my all-time favorite songs. Ever and ever.
-
poop, now you have me on a Tommy Vex kick, you bastard @shepp.... This is one of my favorite songs from Bad Wolves, his voice is nuts. Diamante is so fuqqin' hot, too... Damn...
-
@shepp, I watched all that close, when he was splitting from Bad Wolves, and why, and watched all the fallout. Not long after that, he was in this song, which I dearly love. There's some fuckin' LEGENDS in this one, and it's pretty touching, when you read the lyrics and listen to it at the same time. I know I've posted this before - but this is still a good time to repost it.

He's a badass, man. Love that guy, for how he works, what he stands for, and what he went through because of his beliefs. He's money to me. Legit, real person, with real morals and convictions. That he stood behind, no matter what. Complete stud.

"sack full of grizzlies..." or "a porta-shitter..." I was DYIN' at the campfire that night. After I offered you that shot, and you took it, then you chastised me pretty harsh... "You know, you're not supposed to give an Indian liquor..."

Check this one - Shrek McPhee. When you start listening to this one - think about what you're hearing. This is what we do. What he's explaining it WHY we do what we do. It's not specifically a Shrek thing - it's the SOF mentality that is what it is - they're on a shoot right now, during this interview. This is why I do what I do, why I know those of you that I know, and why we've shot together when we have... This blows it out. "If you need a place, to let it all out, then this is the place, right now. " Pay close attentuon to 56:02 in this, or very close to it. It'll haunt you, if you've been out here to the SDTF before. Not my words, I didn't carry it - 10 years ago... Shrek lets it out. That's MY mentality. "Have a community that I consider family" You motherfuckers are that community.

Burt Gummer is my Hero. Always will be.
-
Or a Kimberly Dawn Champagne girlfriend. She's right inline with Lorena Bobbitt and Jodi Arias. She's that nuts, batshiit crazy.
-
Holy shiit, Eric - that dude has WAY TOO MUCH time on his hands, to build that thing - I'm in the vid right now, and he's in need of a girlfriend. Just not a crazy one. A crazy one will get his Trebuchet taken away from him.
-
I don't wanna shoot tennis balls - I wanna launch Scuba Steve's bowling balls. He prefers the 8-pounders. I want to send one of those bitches further than his TinkerBell does...
-
@mrmackc has to have hogs, tearing up his shiit. But if not - let's make a shoot out of it. I'm the spotter and wind caller. I'll road-trip for that, in a heartbeat.
-
Weight is perfect. Glad it's the 2.500". That gonna work. Probably need the Sprinco Orange spring, but let's see how that other one works out first.
-
I can come to Texas and help you out, if you need it. Sounds like that dumbson of a bitch needs smacked, for it. I won't wipe your ass, or anything crazy like that - even though you're probably my dad, and all. But I'll help you out. Maybe we can shoot some hogs that are over-running your property? I'll spot - you shoot.
-
This is gonna be fun. I look forward to how this one will go. I have a 12.5" .308 Win barrel, 0.750" gas block diameter, with a custom 11.00" gas tube based on gas port location on the weird barrel config. Port diameter is 0.070". Runs like a champ. Seems like this will be close. Welcome aboard, man.

TREBUCHET!!! Bey your ass men - I have time to work on a Trebuchet now, considering everything going on. We'll have a fucking Trebuchet at the Fall Shoot 2023. Guaranteed.
-
Mack! What the hell happened? I'm glad you're doing better, but what'd you do in the first place? Slow down, man...

It's pretty fucking impressive watching them work, brother. Can't really describe it, but it's like they're on a phone call, just complaining about overcharges on their internet bill or something. They're just calm, cool, collected - and getting it fucking done. There are so many facets to the AFSOC game, and almost nobody knows about them, the differences, what they do, how they work... The aircraft are cool as fuk. But those ground guys are some of the toughest motherfuckers in the SOF game. Their training pipeline is so long. Short story - went to a close air support course in 1995, at Hurlburt Field, FL. We spent 3 weeks hitting the beach everyday, and all night running AFSOC gunship call-for-fire training and missions. What a sweet course to go to. MH-53s and AC-130s, call for fire, on the range, fucking shiit up downrange. 3 weeks of it gets you pretty good at it, but not like the real AF dudes that do this for a living. It gives you a certification, and the proper training, to pop up on their frequency, and request fire to get your ass out of a bind. We had 2 guys assigned to us from the unit there, attached to us for the training. There was a young kid, just came in. He was enlisted grade E3, Airman First Class. Young fuqr. We talked, and he was talking about getting out after this first enlistement. I laughed. He was already airborne qualified, HALO qualified, SCUBA qualified (Combat Diver), and was about to make rank to E4. He was in training for damn near 2 years, and he's talking about getting out. I said, "Look, man - do you have ANY IDEA how long it takes an Army guy to complete the qualifications and schools that you have? Those are necessary for your job, so it's automatic - but you've already accomplished a HELL of alot in 2 years. You're set for life, if you stay in the Air Force..." I don't know if he ever stayed in, got out, or what... That kid was SET...
-
That's badass, man - you put some work into that, and it's very easy to read, see, understand. Observations: The ODIN adj buffer. What's the length on it? I have one of those kits that I use to fine tune the large frames, and it's a good kit. You're still running the 7.000" internal depth carbine receiver extension, so that needs to be the ODIN 2.500" buffer, NOT the ODIN 3.250" buffer... Armalite AR-10B bolt catch. I tried one of those in a DPMS LR-308 patterened build once, and I had to work in it. I think I went to the Armalite AR-10A catch after that. Big differences between the two. Hand cycle the gun and try that 10B out, before you head out to the range. Lemme know on those two things. Let's get this gun rolling. Very well done on that .pdf writeup.

I love the fuk out my AFSOC brothers, like you guys can't even understand. US Air Force Special Operations Command has so many facets. Gunships, all the cool aircraft... that's not what I'm talking about. The guys on the ground. Badasses, through and through, all the way. This interview from Ryan Fugit is worth your time. It's just awesome.
-
Don't threaten me with a good time, brother.
-
For the record - it's not a "shortened DPMS style rifle buffer." The very original AR-10 buffer was the rifle length buffer, at 5.200" long, and 5.4oz. AR15 shiit came later, and the buffer length had to be increased - because Eugene Stoner designed the BCG shorter for the AR15 - to run inside the same extension. Eugene Stoner is the pioneer on these things, and the AR-10 came first. Rifle recoil system came first. Bit of history, but pertinent here in this discussion.

You're good. It's just starting to get there - welcome aboard, by the way. Sometimes it's tough, without information. I'm sure you don't understand the level of information required to diagnose a gun issue over the internet - but we're well versed in that. No harm, no foul. Carrier weight on those two is gonna be right around 18oz, not enough to differ between the two. Fulton Armory parts are top-notch, nothing to worry about. Best quality out there. AR15 rifle extensions, A1, A2, doesn't matter. .308 AR rifle extensions, same. 9 11/16" internal depth. Your buffer should be 5.200" total length, weigh 5.4oz. Recoil spring. Only ones I'd run with that combo would either be the Armalite EA-1095 spring, or the Sprinco Red spring. Don't trust anything else - it hasn't been confirmed, repeated, or mass produced with perfect results.
-
It's harsh being me. I create my own hell, brother.
-
I've ordered those tubes from them, when Armalite was out of stock - they're legit. They make the specs necessary.
