Reg opened tonight, and filled up FAST. We normally run 12 or 13 people per squad, per the 5 squads, but this month, they opened it up to 15 per squad right away. Filled up quick. We'll see what happens. Match details won't drop until Friday sometime, but I'll try to get them up here before this happens - if possible. I changed my direction before last month. Commonly, 60" is the basic standard. There's some 64" rigs, 72" rigs, and the newest one is 74" hub-to-hub, before tires, which gives it about 76" tires mounted. Ask me questions about the rigs bro - I'll lay it down. I've fixed and worked on all of them. ALL of them.

Rifle buffer systems in both guns. The extensions will be in spec for internal depth, no way around that (internal depth on a rifle extension is 9 11/16"). No manufacturer fuks that up, but it's worth checking. Rifle buffers for .308ARs (not including RRA LAR-8s and Bushmaster BAR-10s) are 5.200 long, mand they weigh 5.4oz. Nobody fucks that up, generally, but we've seen some length problems here recently on large-frame rifle buffers. It's worth checking. Call the spring shiit, right off the bat, and it's suspect, only because they can't confirm one standard or the other, and there are only two standards. Armalite makes the EA-1095 spring, and it doesn't fail. Sprinco makes the Red spring, and it doesn't fail. Those are the only two springs that are of known good quality, period, that I've seen. THere might me one or two others, but I've never used them, and verified them myself. I have used both of the springs I listed. Verify your recoil system first. After that, we work on your gas system. For reference, read this. I'm not dumb on what's going on here. Baby steps, fix what's directly wrong or suspect first. We get into the gas system next. Once you fire a brand new piece of brass, it's now fire-formed to your chamber. Measure the length of it, fired. Use comparator gauges, and check the length, against the shoulder. Set your dies up so that you bump the shoulder either only 0.002" or 0.003" back from the fired length. You'll never, ever have a problem.

You can try WMD Guns. I know that they'll NiB coat parts for you, at least they did in the past, before they got huge. I don't know of a company that just does the QPQ/Salt bath nitride for people... It's worth calling them and seeing. If they don't do it, they'll either tell you who does, or tell you to go to hell...

The only difference is in the bore size of the gas block, for the gas block journal size. There's some weird ones out there now, with custom shiit, but the common ones are 0.625", 0.750", 0.875" (there's a pattern there, 0.125" apart), and then there's the 0.936". Gas blocks are gas blocks. Doesn't matter what AR they go onto. Depends on the barrel maker. Gas TUBES between large frame and small frame ARs SHOULD be different, because of height-over-bore between the two platforms. Different bends between the two, because of height-over-bore. Problem is, alot of barrel makers spec out an AR15 gas tube length for a Large Frame AR... it's not a huge deal, but it's still a deal, to deal with... Check this pic - it should be obvious...

Speer Gold Dot is definitely the answer, brother. Mine used to be in .45 ACP, but I'll take the 9mm these days, too - it still works, quite well.
