Hey, you work hard cooking in the desert. I can post pics of it, from the last time you were here - you were BUSTING YOUR ASS, BROTHER!!!
  2. Got it - I kinda thought that - but I wasn't sure that Albro didn't use one of your pics. Thanks for the clarification.
  3. I think it's scary how much I hoard from you. You need bonus pay, just for the shiit that I request, and what I put you through...
  4. I sent him a text earlier tonight, with Birthday wishes, and he still doesn't even know that this thread is here yet... Gonna be a PISSED OFF SHOCKER when he sees it, too... He is gonna LOSE HIS SHIIT@!...
  5. He doesn't clean those things!!!
  6. "Oh my god, say my name..."
  7. He's TAME with them, compared to me and this group of "lifetime warranty" shiit-exporters. They do fine with 5.56, but who doesn't? They can't make a fully functional .308AR to save their lives, and their Gen 3 proves this in spades - the changes they made in order to make and push that Gen 3 are bullshiit - relieve the ears on the lower, so you can't see the impact marks on the ears on the lower, because of a bad recoil system? SERIOUSLY?!!? Yeah, they did it. Just so they could keep selling shiit recoil systems on their .308ARs, and the GenPop wouldn't notice the MAJOR problems in the recoil system. Oh, don't get me started, Mister...
  8. When I have to punch a gas port, I do it free-hand, with a hand-held drill. Either a Makita or Milwaukee, but the drill brand doesn't matter, as long as it's variable speed trigger on that thing. Keep the speed slow, and light pressure - don't push it hard - let the bit eat. This is determining how you affect an explosion, mere inches from your own face when you pull the trigger - but it isn't Rocket Science. It's just drilling a hole in a piece of metal, larger, where there's already a hole to base this from. It's easy to do, and you don't need specialized equipment to pull this off. Under-paid workers and trained monkeys could do this all day long, and PSA proves this every single day. Don't over-think it. It's a simple operation. You already have the pilot hole, right there in front of you.

You wanna be the "Virgin Pizza Chef at Fall Shoot" for this? I'll get the thing, and let you break it in with it's first pizzas. DISCLAIMER: I'm not stating that YOU are a Virgin. I'm simply stating that the Pizza Oven device would REMAIN Virgin, until used by you...
  10. I've always been thinking of adding a couple more small ones, and a larger base-station radio. One day, I'll do it. If I have a dedicated VHF freq that I'll stay on, I can make my own antennas, cut specifically to that freq.

I've seriously been thinking about the Camp Chef Artisan Pizza Oven device, for the grills I have. I have 2 of the 14" systems right now, and realize I probably need a 3rd one. I have enough stuff to set up 3 right now, if I had the 3rd stove. That would be the SHEIIIT for the Fall Shoot Camp, right there. 1 1/2 grills set up WITH 1 1/2 griddles set up, at the same time. No swapping this-for-that, just ready to go. FUK!!! Now I might go buy a 3rd stove, just so we have it all worked out... Or, maybe, we'll just fly what we have right now, and see how it works out. If we get in a bind, cooking, it'll show - and then I'll get that 3rd stove...
  12. Damn right - 5 watts of push will go a LONG way. I'm Line Of Sight almost everywhere out here, unless a hill or mountain gets in my way.
  13. I have a couple of those for point-to-point communication, plus the programming cable, and used CHIRP to program them both. From my experience with the hardware, software, and the process - you are completely right, and I agree with you 100%. That's the easiest way to go, right there. I loaded up MURS, NOAA Weather, and FRS/GMRS freqs. That covers my VHF and UHF pretty well. I haven't played with any HF and Directional Ground Wire antennas with these things yet, but I'd bet they would do pretty well like that.
  14. Go back over everything in your recoil system, man, and spec it all out. I picked up on something in your pic below... - Unless this is @Albroswift's pic... ^^^ Looks like that BCG was making contact with the lower, during firing. You can see the marks on the ears of the lower, and also on the BCG where it steps up in diameter.
  15. Damn, Belt!
  16. HAPPY BIRFDAY, @Rsquared!!!
  17. Better keep your eyeball on that thing, and don't let it turn into THIS... Didn't you see Transformers, man?!!?
  18. Don't worry about a burr through the drilled hole. If you go slow, it probably won't happen. Even if there is a burr, that first projectile down the pipe is gonna remove any/all burrs present. Nothing to worry about, in the grand scheme of things.
  19. Holosun is the company that makes all of the PA red dots, and they're good dots, no matter which model you get. I put one on my 45/70 right after I got it in 2015 - just to see how long it would take to kill that dot. It's still there, and works just like it did out of the box. That's probably the most violent-recoiling gun that I have. It's easier to shoot a Barrett M107 than it is to eat the recoil from that damn thing.
  20. Hell, those a legal - not classified as a "Destructive Device" like the 40s are.
  21. IF it's a real 40mm, you better have that fucker registered. That's Tax Stamp, big time, brother, even to own one, and own ZERO ammo for it...
  22. Where's the damn vid, man?@!..
  23. You can go to Ace Hardware and get a set screw and fix your problem. Your problem is much more than an adjustable gas block, though, with a missing set screw. You need to look deeply at the gas system and recoil system on your gun- you can take that for what it's worth. You can be all upset if you want, too - doesn't matter. Your PSA gun was poorly designed, poorly executed, and you're seeing the results of that now - adjustable gas block or not. Get deep into the PSA section here and search out the fixes. They're talked about routinely, and the solve is pretty widespread already. Leave your butthurt at the door. "Helping you out" would have come before your purchase, had you asked. You would have been advised to buy something else, that you don't have to fix, just to make it run.
  24. I already wrote all about it. I'm sure you know that, though.
