  1. @Ravenworks is a total fucking joke - until he posts a real, verifiable picture of himself. Proof Of Life shiit, too. Until then, he's a fucking joke - based on what he thinks about "calling people out" about. YOU are a piece of the Cancer here, whether you realize that or not... Show me you're NOT FAT, @Ravenworks, and find a way to prove it's YOU. Like a sign you're holding up, that says "FUK YOU, 98Z5V! I'M NOT FAT!!!" I'll wait...
  2. About the ONLY company that every made cast receivers, was Olympic Arms, on their severe budget models. You don't need to worry about cast receivers in modern times. Rule cast receivers out. And don't buy cheap shiit from no-name vendors. Maybe some of this is out there, especially with the influx of garbage Chinese shiit that infects this gun world.
  3. Hot loads. I wouldn't sweat it yet. Give the gun some shooting time. The FGGM 185 Berger Juggernauts that I've shot so far - THAT is some hot ammo! But it's effective, as hell. It's not "too hot", but it's up there. They're not joking around with those loads, I'll tell you that. @Armed Eye Doc will like that part. Those 185 Juggernauts are serious. I need to replicate that load... I'm full-Hornady Whore on the 178 ELD-X projectiles right now, changed ALL my .308Win handloads over to them, and they are absolutely badass, in the handload that I have going on. Unreal projectile, for a .308 Win loading... I need to pick up some of these 185 Juggernauts, and start loading them. For them, Ive only fired the factory Federal ammo with them - but they're impressive, as all hell.
  4. OMG! Look how FAT I look in that pic!!! @Ravenworks, check THAT one out!!!
  5. It's WAY shorter for me, Ron, by far - and I need to come see you guys anyway, Dirk. I wanna meet Doc something fierce... plus see the "older brothers" now. They have to love this shiit, as "older brothers"...
  6. ^^^ That right there is my stupid Bengal cat. He's a fuckin' Dog Fighter. No fuse, no waiting, it's all fight, right now, as soon as he has a dog in his sights. I think I just posted his last story not long ago. He got another dog a couple months ago. Hard-headed bastard that he is. This was a couple years ago, when he had to LIVE with two dogs. "He changed their habits" is the best way I can describe it. I think he's just Irish, and wants to fight all the time. He's an a$shole.
  7. Took you long enough. Come play with me. Post your pic of YOU now, you Fat Jagoff... Or, live in the Internet, and keep thinking you're some kind of badass.... How FAT do I look here, buddy?... You risk it if you want. I'll welcome it. Come ooooonnnn... You can take me...
  8. I just wanna shoot it... I bought my 9mm in 2012, and just figured that fucker out last year...
  9. It's okay - they chopped $9 off the combos that I ordered last night, already. I don't mind, my order is secured. I was wrong on the savings, though. I dropped $330.42 for $645.65 of product. OLight rocks, brothers. Get in on their emails, and buy some lights, and the emails will start FLOWING...
  10. Blowback 9mm's need like 7 or 8 oz buffers. Heavy that bitch up, brother. I'm REALLY liking that complicated buffer that you went with. This is gonna be EASY to solve...
  11. It's just me, brother. Women are my Kryptonite.
  12. I'm good with giving myself the Limp. That means I worked hard...
  13. So far, he's not been right. This one is safe, and sane - so far. We'll see if I get scalped... If this other blonde makes it to the Laughlin party, I'm giving her a limp. For life. She almost got the limp a few weeks ago, when we were all out at the casino. She was out last night with us, all dolled up, and I basically ignored her... Today, though - I went back to the bar we were all at last night, and spent the afternoon as the only customer in the bar - hitting on the hot bartender. Got her number right away...
  14. Badass Blonde Chicks are my weakness. I just keep getting the batshit crazy ones. One day I'll learn, and find a good one. I keep buying lottery tickets, too. Which one is paying out first?... So far, the Apache/Mexican one has been the absolute SAFEST. Must be the Brunette. Truth... I'm toying with a new blonde, completely badass. If she shows up for the "Laughlin Weekend" coming up, we'll find out. I think she might have issues, though.
  15. What's your buffer weight again, brother? 9mm's need some weight, I found that out after years.
  16. She looks difficult, and she's blonde. I'd risk it.
  17. The stock or the carbine endplate will cover that.
  18. I had to fix that for ya.
  19. That's an All-The-Time Problem, right there. If anything at all feeds, I'd be surprised. That's one sharp edge, on each feeding side, waiting to slice into evert single projectile tip that tries to get out of that magazine. That needs fixed first. Very first.
  20. You can drain the oil from your engine, then start it with no oil in it. It's gonna start and run just fine. For a minute...
  21. I don't know if any of you guys noticed this or not - but this is a VERY LEGIT Mk18 right here.
  22. I ordered yesterday - It pays to be an OLight Whore... You get early access on all their stuff. Two of the FDE Odins inbound, with a BUNCH of other lights. Probably $600 worth of stuff for $330. I love OLight.

    98's 6mm ARC

If it was me, rifle recoil parts? Known extension from a good company, regular old 5.900" long AR15 rifle buffer (gonna be 5.4oz), and the Armalite M15 rifle recoil spring. Solid combo, have it in the Mk12 Mod 1. Now, comparing apples to apples, and not apples to hammers... I'm gonna VLTOR mine, after I see what LaRue sends me. I have no doubt I'll get some great parts from Mark LaRue, and they're gonna work great on a Grendel, which should work great on a 6 ARC... But the other guns I'm comparing this to are running VLTOR A5 setups with the heavier buffers (A5H2s, 5.33oz). Gotta keep it straight, on my side, for an honest comparison. The only things different about these guns, operationally, will be the actual caliber. The 18" Grendel and the 18" .224 Valk are running that exact same recoil system. Fuk, ALL the Grendels are running VLTOR A5 setups. ALL those VLTOR A5 setups are running the Armalite M15 Rifle Recoil Spring, too. I didn't buy any "complete" A5 systems - I put them all together from parts, usually Armalite AR-10 Carbine Receiver Extensions, too. The only actual VLTOR part in those A5s is the VLTOR buffers. All of them are either the H2, 5.33oz, or the H1, 4.56oz. The 12.5", both 16",and the light(er) 18" are with the H1. The 18" SPR is the H2, and the Valk is the H2.
  24. That's a very bad combination, right there. The feed ramps in that extension need to be chopped up, and blended with the ramps in the receiver. That's the worst possible combo, right there. Dremel Chainsaw Sharpening Bit will do it.
