In the past 2 days, I hit the site, and it stalls on loading... When I refresh, it THEN loads the page. This happens when I first access the site, and then about 90% of the time when I click another button - i.e., go to a new topic, another thread, etc. Refresh finally loads it, but it stalls on the "initial click" I make to go wherever I'm going... Hitting it from a laptop or desktop - not a phone. This is what it looks like when it stalls on me - and it will stay like this until I refresh... Forever...

I think this profile right here is going to turn into the US Army SDM-R I've been wanting to build for so damn long...

I think the stock would be great for weight savings over the MagPul PRS, without a doubt - Randy Luth nailed it with that stock. Would be great for the competition crowd, too, for setting up a 3-gun rifle perfectly, and keeping weight down. I don't see a need - for me - to have adjustable comb or length on a light(er) weight rifle. Length? Sure, collapsible stock on a 6-position receiver extension. Solved. With the plethora of optics mounts out there, you can get your scope as low as you need on an AR platform without adjustable comb. I definitely see the benefit on a precision rifle, including a precision AR. My $0.02.

I will certainly get you the details on this. We Arizonans throw down some spectacular annual shoots, which have recently turned into twice-a-year shoots because of Matt Cross... The Fall Shoot this year will be the best one yet. Early November.

There won't be any way e can get it perfectly lined up AND torqued properly. Not since it's a finished barrel with index pin drilled and inserted, and gas port drilled. Only hope for that barrel will be to get it perfectly aligned, at whatever torque that happens to be, and Rocksett the shiit out of that extension.

YES!!! I can set him up with a killer recipe, right off the bat. 45-70 can be tricky, and he needs to watch his load data sources. There's 3 different configurations, with trap door loads, modern loads, and Ruger No. 1 loads. Ruger No. 1 load data will blow his gun up! He needs to stick to "modern" loads - which would blow up a trap-door gun. Yep, that's 175 feet! On your barrel, Roman, you need to get that thing lined back up, and it doesn't sound like it was torqued right to begin with (or you probably wouldn't have unscrewed it taking off a muzzle device). You need to get it all lined up - which will be barrel index pin perfectly lined up with barrel gas port. That's the only way it'll be straight when installed, and have the headspace still on like it was. Rocksett that bitch on there so you never have to worry about it again. Or, Yellow or Green Loc-Tite. Both those flavors are mean as hell.

I just blast that with brake cleaner - stick the straw in the receiver-end of the tube and give it the business. Blow it out with compressed air.

I have never had one detach itself. Never. No matter what brand. Those things are about all I use anymore, that way, any sling can go on any rifle, without specialized hardware.
